Posted August 13, 2018 MOGADISHU, Somalia (Caasimada Online) — A High-level delegation led by Eritrean Foreign Minister, Osman Saleh Mohammed has on Monday arrived in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu. The Eritrean delegation was warmly welcomed by Somali PM Hassan Ali Khaire and other government officials at Aden Adde International airport in Mogadishu. The Eritrean FM Saleh and PM Khaire reportedly discussed wide range of issues, including relations between Mogadishu and Asmara. “I have welcomed a delegation led by Eritrean FM Saleh in Mogadishu. We have had high level talks”, Khaire said. Mr. Khaire says regional cooperation for stability and economic progress is crucial for common prosperity of the Horn of Africa. “The visit is a vital to further strengthen relation of two countries “, Khaire said. Last month, Somali president Mohamed Abudllahi Farmajo and his Eritrean counterpart, Isaias Afeworki met in Asmara and signed agreement on economic and political cooperation.
