Somaliland: SomalilandInformer publications cease operations

HARGEISA– The owner of SomalilandInformer.com/net website announced on Wednesday  that he has closed the website which has been publishing news from Somaliland and the Horn.

We the Editorial staff received a letter from the owner and said that the website will be renamed. The owner has asserted that a brand news website which focuses news from Somaliland and the Horn will be launched in the days to come which will be friendly and eye-catching to our esteemed readers all across the country.

We regret the decision to inform that we are no longer publishing news stories in the website with effect from 25th of July 2018. We are now in full preparations to launch the news website which will be published in English and will be focusing news from Somaliland and the Horn.

I appeal that all our readers and those firms that supported with ads to come and join with us on the inauguration of brand news website which will start operations within the days to come. We are making all efforts to have editorial independence in a bid to establish a website with Google Ads better known as the Ad sense.

I thank you for your daily day visits of the site as the site has been operational more than 6 years since its inception in 2012.
