Libaax-Sankataabte Posted March 25, 2009 A British man has been murdered aboard his yacht off the Thai coast, after his killers locked his wife in the cabin. Early police reports suggested that Mr Robertson had been beaten to death with a hammer. It was alleged later that the killers cut his throat as he shouted for help and threw him overboard. His body has not been found. Thai police said that three fishermen, migrant workers from neighbouring Burma, had confessed. Piracy along the Thai-Malaysian sea boundary was common in the 1990s, but intensive patrols by both nations have reduced the attacks. If you are a "professional" pirate you don't be-head the most important commodity you hold. Dead bodies are worth zero dollars.
