Ankara—Djibouti President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh attended Monday the inauguration of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan amid showing a support to President Erdoğan and his 81-million nation.

The level of Djibouti’s cooperation with Ankara on health, education and higher education, agriculture, commerce and the economy as well as geothermal energy, is a win-win approach, according to a report of Djibouti’s daily press, The Nation.

President Guelleh will discuss his Turkish counterpart the enhancement of geothermal energy in part of the nation’s economic growth and investment.

The President of the Republic-led a large Djibouti delegation at the inauguration of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on July 9, including the minister of Economic and finance, Ilyas Moussa Dawaleh.

Djibouti commissioned $3.5 billion Chinese-built free trade zone last Friday. “It is … a zone of hope for thousands of young job-seekers,” Djibouti President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh said at the inauguration ceremony, which was also attended by the presidents of Rwanda, Somalia, Ethiopia and Sudan.
