Somaliland: Police Commissioner Tours Sool Region to tighten security amidst attacks from Puntland

LASANOD– Police Commissioner, Brigadier General Abdilahi Fadal Iman paid a working visit to Lasanod, Sool’s provincial capital yesterday. The mission of the Police Commissioner is to assess the security in Sool province and to meet with regional police officers to beef up security in the region.

The police commissioner is flanked by senior Somaliland police officers who will hold meetings with regional police officers in order to tighten security. Mr. Fadal speaking to local media said that it is one of his obligations to inspect police officers in every region in Somaliland are conducting their national duties well. The police commissioner and his delegates were greeted by Sool’s regional governor upon reaching Lasanod.
