Moderation precludes -- by definition -- the effects of excess, Aragsaneey. For good measure, take a look at extreme moderation which seems to be a contradiction in terms. You can exaggerate everything, just apply the concept of excess to the idea of moderation.

Taken to the extreme, with out confusing I and Aragsan, moderation is complex and can be difficult to not only accept, but also understand and implement. Abstinence is easier than perfect moderation.
