Minister of Livestock, Fishery and Marine Resources Tours Coastal Plains of Somaliland

The minster of livestock Mr.Hassan Mohammed Ali (Gafadhi) has toured the coastal plains of the country. Minister Gafadhi is on an inspection tour in Salel province. This is according to Somaliland News Agency (Solnanews.com) reporters accompanying the minister. He said that his visit concern a fact finding mission to see how the fishing community of Selel are fairing.

The Livestock and Fishery minister tour the refrigeration plant and the fishery hangar where fish are offloaded from boats.

Mr.Gafadhi listened to the propositions of Fair Fishing Company officials; the firm is charged with the running of only cooler plant in the region.

In another development the minister met with members   of fishing cooperative called Tawakal. He urged them to increase the out of fish stocks in the region. The minister said that his ministry is in the process of developing the maximum benefit of marine resource in the country.
