Old_Observer Posted June 27, 2018 4 hours ago, Che -Guevara said: The Oromo are in a rush to create their own state. They are uniting every Oromo even the ones that never considered to be part of Ethiopia and the others that consider themselves more Ethiopian than Amhara. Its amazing when people know America is in it. Everyone is overnight democrat. That will be first cruck in Abiy now seeming united. The Amhara want Oromia dismantled and the Oromo would not even contemplate. Somali and Afar are only ones who have least problems except few opportunits which natural any time. Ethiopia is really changed. People are scared when they don't hear anything about Iley for a week. They thing that, here we go the Somali is going and nobody can stop him...seriously people talk in those terms.
galbeedi Posted June 27, 2018 Cabdi Illey will not be fired for many reasons. First, While Abiy Ahmed is busy dealing with the old guard of the north, he doesn't want another Oromo style uprising in the Somali zone. Second, Abiy knows among all the Ethiopian ethnics, the Somalis are distinct and aren't attached to the so called Ethiopiawi slogan. Thus, having a dictator keep the order and keep the old oppression system in place is always prefered in the zone. Abiy maybe Oromo, but he shares with Tigray that Somalis should be always kept in emergency situation where trade and freedom are denied. OO, always talks about not related issue. Djibouti doesn't have any borders with Oromo, so your so called trade routes are red hearing. If I were Abiy, I would keep Illey for life. Cabdi Illey is a prison warden who does well to keep the Somali inmates quite. He will gladly serf whomever is the boss. Yesterday, he staged one of the biggest pro Abiy demonstration to condemn the explosion in Addis and support the new guy. When the Oromo and Amhara were agitating against the TPLF, he did the same thing. OO, Ma maqashay, ninkii hooyaday guursadaba waa adeerkay.

I am sure you have different area of interest and many times have stated that Iley must go. As you said the Somali is probably most significant. but is not integrated in Ethiopia. The Somali has most autonomy. Whether from the heart or the sleeve, demonstration these days are dime a dozen. They always accuse each other in Ethiopia whether that was paid or that was paid. Jawar will be full time focused on Kililka, Somali, Iley...that you vcan be sure. Oromo is not connected to Djibouti, but if Oromo convert some Somali like you, you are as good as Oromo. Even better because you can be Somali Oromo or Oromo Somali your choice.
galbeedi Posted June 27, 2018 To keep the Killil united is important. It is probably the only good thing about Illey. Yet, the new guy will not mind to keep us down. OO, remember the onus is on Cabdi Illey to open up the Somali region and unite the people. If you think you can keep things as usual, definitely some of us will join the Oromo to survive. becoming Somali Oromo might not be as bad as being Somali Tigray of the last ten years. Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 27, 2018 Ileey is doing a good job to.keep these galla invaders in check. Let him further karbaash them. Ileey is not the best of choices when running an administration. But he needs to keep the invaders at bay
Che -Guevara Posted June 27, 2018 Whoever comes to power in Ethiopia is not good for Somalia. The changes made by Abiy has been good for Ethiopia and other neighbors, he hasn't changed a single towards Somalia. As for the Oromo issue, they are bad as Tigrays, at-least their leadership is. Let's not be fooled by their sweet-talking. Their ambition is beyond what today's Somalis can appreciate.
Ifiye Posted June 27, 2018 Ethiopia is a loyal client state of foreign powers and will only act according to their wishes. They are getting huge financial and political support to continue their destabilizing actions in Somalia. They are basically getting financial, political and moral support to continue raping their long time enemy. Even the Oromos cannot resist such an arrangements. Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 27, 2018 The same party is still in power eprdf gallas claim Somali territories and they need to be pushed back. Opdo is a ethnic movement. Oromo has little incomen with Somalis abiye Ahmed is half amhara his wife is amhara and he works for a tigrian organization. He might empower his ethnic group but he cares little for Somalis in Ethiopia.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 27, 2018 Somaliland did their homework the recogntion of Somaliland president daahir rayaale kahin traveled the whole African continent met a dozen presidents from Africa Nigeria Ghana Senegal Kenya Tanzania and the Somaliland case was filed into the Africanunion Egypt and Sudan opposed Somaliland president to adress The African union summit in accra Ghana 2007. Purely because of politics they threatend to leave the African union if Somaliland is given a platform to adress it case.. no county in Europe ever said that Somaliland has no case for diplomatic recognition. The Europeans even proposed talks between somaliland and the failed state of Somalia. But these talks collapsed in 2015. Because the koonfurians were not sincere. Somaliland today has made gradual steps it secured one of the biggest investment deals in 27 year's. The Arabs have now stake in Somaliland which means other international companies will follow. Somaliland is moving fast while Somalia is still fighting jihadist and 30.pop african union troops protect the week and fragile govt the past 14 years. Since imbagati nothing much has changed in Somalia
