The first step in solving a problem is recognizing there is one..

I give credit to Biixi Ooyaye for finally admitting the truth about the terrible social and economic situation the masses in the north of Somalia are grappling with.

I believe Biixi Ooyaye has taken the most important step necessary to first wake the brainwashed hapless, helpless and hopeless h@bro of the north of Somalia— who are adamant believers of bullshit like “wey duushay” daydream or some such other nonsense— and ask them to quickly organize themselves for the purpose of ameliorating the epidemic of wretchedness and misery that engulfs them all.

Kudos to the learned ladies who lectured Biixi on the importance of economic development and its supremacy over all else. I only wish it were sooner.

Somaliland is still winning 27 years later. Somalia is still in ruins jihadist controling large swats of land. Amisom still protecting the koonfurians. And the pirates keep on losing territories tukaraq gambadhe laascanood. And soon north galkacyo in other news abdi cawar meets with facebok president martin of the Somaliland United Facebook group  2018 is a great year. For  the people of Somaliland  not so much for the defeated lot from the pirate enclave

It is shocking to see an SNM field commander recycling Kacaanka's economic truths. It seems like in 40 years plus nothing has really changed, except the puppets. But on a serious note, Muuse Biixi makes many valid points during his speech, however, in order to find real solutions to these obstacles, the entire truth should be told.  Although Somaliland's economy is still a decade ahead of all other Somali regions on any parameters, it is still a heavily regulated economy run by a few families.

No wonder, the majority of Somaliland's youth crosses oceans and then claim to be "abaayowe, booska habarteey oo Afgooye ku yaaale aan soo gaddee " in European capitals. I don't blame the youth because they are not giving the opportunities they truly deserve. So move from the status quo, and let the economy be deregulated in order to give the youth a chance to prosper.

Somaliland is a free market based capitalist system. We are not a socialist communist state like the 70s.some bussines are monopolized true but  there is allot of bussiness opportunities if you have the capital to invest. The youth will always tahriib whether they have jobs money people are obsessed living the western life style  snap chat Facebook instagram has gotten into the youth. And that will not change.  Don't forget tahriib is  not only a Somaliland problem but also koonfurians go and other Africans
