For many of us this was one of the most important event of 2018.

We have been praying for Erdogan during our prayers and the rest of the Muslim world was doing the same thing. In 2017, The Turkish nation was the most charitable nation on earth, bigger than the Americans and others.

If you feed the poor and those in need around the world, the mercy of Allah will lift your nation.

Folks, we are celebrating today. MashaAllah.

Closely following this as if it is my family member who is running. It is an important election. This is a big event for me. I can't describe how important this election is for the Muslim world and for Somalia.

Erdogan is pushing ahead with economic reforms and he is slowly changing Turkey's status in the world.

It seems that the people of Turkey understand how Turkey was transformed to an economic powerhouse. Their GDP went from $200 billion to more than $850 billion today thanks to Erdogen and the AK party. Turkey has of the fastest growing economies in the world today averaging 7.4% growth even though Arab golf countries along with some western countries are attacking Turkish lira in order for Erdogen to lose.  Let us hope Erdogen wins and Turkey wins.

Peace Action,

The Turkish Lira lost 20% for the last few weeks because of the currency attack from the gulf and others. The Guld and their alliance were preparing for the earlier election date of November 2019, to weaken the currency and start other regional problems before that date.

Erdogan and the nationalist movement understood the ploy and called snab election to compliment the new presidential system. It was a good move to preempt the gulf plan.

It is official.

President Erdogan is the winner.

With almost 90%, this is the highest participation of election in any country in recent memory. This  is a victory for the Turkish democracy.

No one can minimize this victory of  the people.

Congratulations.

As usual,  the sad thing tomorrow we have to go back and debate Somalis fighting for their villages. Which one is better.

Congratulations for Erdogan and Turkey.

The west media did everything to discredit him and defeat him. Still questioning the validity of election after fair election with local and international monitors for each box and election location.

He is a party spoiler for them and they are the real losers today.

Congratulations President Rajab Tayeb Erdogan  and the people of Turkey. Many developing countries should emulate Turkey's AK party (Justice and Development Party) for good governance and development.

I am sticking my neck as small internet citizen.

Ethiopia should be one of 3 or 4 first countries he visits in this new term. An afternoon in Somalia maybe from Qatar or Sudan is also in order.

That is my schedule for president of Turkey, Mr. Erdogan

Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has brought three members of the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) from the Central African country Gabon to the Turkish capital Ankara, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on April 10.
Osman Özpınar, İbrahim Akbaş, and Adnan Demirönal, who are believed to be senior members of FETÖ, were detained by Gabon’s security forces on March 23 and transferred from Gabon’s capital Libreville to Ankara by the MİT on a private jet.
A court in the Turkish capital Ankara and a district court in the Central Anatolian province of Konya have issued arrest warrants for Özpınar, the principal of the Gabon Turkish International School and the director of the Light Academy in Kenya.
Warrants have also been issued for Akbaş and Demirönal, former managers of the Ecole Privée International Turco-Gabon. Akbaş was reportedly in charge of money transactions between FETÖ members in Europe and Africa.
All three suspects were users of ByLock, an encrypted mobile phone application used by FETÖ members to communicate during and after the 2016 coup attempt, it was reported.
Some $20,800, 12 million Central African Francs and communication devices found on the suspects were confiscated.

Sudan, Qatar to sign $4 billion deal to develop Suakin seaport

March 2, 2016 (KHARTOUM) - Sudan and Qatar on Monday will sign a partnership agreement worth 4.0 billion dollars to develop and manage Suakin Port in eastern Sudan on the Red Sea.
Sudan has been deprived of foreign investment in its Red Sea ports and terminals due to the economic sanctions on the country while many state and private funds for strategic and commercial reasons invested huge amounts of money in the profitable marine terminal management in different countries in the region.
The deal was announced by the Sudanese Minister of Transport, Roads and Bridges Makkawi Mohamed Awad in a joint press conference held in Port Sudan with the Qatari Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti.
"Qatar and Sudan have agreed on a new joint partnership for full rehabilitation and management of the port of Suakin as that the signing ceremony will be in Khartoum tomorrow," Awad told reporters.
He further said that the project will be completed by 2020 and will cost four billion dollars, of which 500 million dollars will cover the first phase. Qatar will fund the project but Sudan will hold 51% of its shares while Qatar will get 49%.
He disclosed that the deal has been reached after four meetings held in Doha and Khartoum to discuss plans to modernize the seaport and to make it one of the strategic facilities in the country.
The project includes a free zone and besides the seaport infrastructure.
The minister didn’t say the term of the agreement but generally such concessions awarded for a period between 20 and 50 years. However, in some countries freehold deals are possible.
Awad said his ministry plans to develop the infrastructure of Sudanese seaports to keep pace with the development of maritime transport industry, adding they will work with international companies specialized in the seaports management.
In similar deals with foreign countries or private companies, the parties establish a separation of port authority from the port operator. The latter focuses on profitable commercial services while the former works on policy and regulations.
The visiting Qatari minister who arrived from Doha directly to Port Sudan met on Sunday evening with the Sudanese President Omer al-Bashir in Khartoum.
After the meeting, Al-Sultaiti said he discussed the project with al-Bashir and confirmed the signing of the deal on Monday.
Last December, Sudan and Turkey agreed to develop joint tourism projects in Suakin which was an important port in the Red Sea during the Turkish rule. Also, Angara said it would restore the historical sites of the port.
