Hit-And-Run Victim Dies

 

(WCCO) Minneapolis A woman who was critically injured while trying to stop a thief from stealing her sister's car has died, officials said.

 

Lul Ibrahim, 35, died Monday night at Hennepin County Medical Center from injuries she sustained in a carjacking and hit-and-run incident in South Minneapolis.

 

The Somali Justice Advocacy Center is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case. WCCO

It's very sad indeed. May Allah bless her with Jannah.

 

The moral of her tragedy is not to engage a carjacker (or car thief) in any capacity. That's why you have insurance. If they want to take the car, let them. A car, no matter how expensive, can be replaced but a human life is priceless. May she rest in peace.

Allahu rahma. I knew the lady she was nice and very polite. She wasn't engaging the car jacker though her cell phone fell while she was calling 911. It fell in between the two cars and unfortunately the moron who was car jacking decided to back up the car at that moment. May her husband and family find peace. Amin
