Suldaanka Posted June 24, 2018 This is so good for Somaliland in many ways, politically and diplomatically. For the first time, Somaliland and the IC are on the same side while the thugs and puppets are throwing tantrums from the side.

Suldaanka Posted June 24, 2018 I have no doubt that the other regional states have little or no knowledge of this, if at all. It is just Prozac Gaas' clan fiefdom, even causing unnecessary embarassaments for Villa AMISom who got slapped like a misbehaved toddler. And now Prozac Gaas couldn't take no for answer and wants his own smack down.
maakhiri1 Posted June 24, 2018 I didn't know SL did not have any friends in Federal States. Federal MPs from SL also failed.

Now Mr. Gamal again may unwittingly cause a rift between Puntland and the IC, whereby the IC may withdraw its funding all together. Kan yar cashar fiican ayaa loo dhigaya. Samafal Posted June 24, 2018 There you go boys. I told you Puntland's gloves are off. For too long Puntland respected the Jeegaan admin in Hargaisa and this respect made them mistaken for a weakness. I know Jeegaan boys are downplaying this aid thing but as far as Puntland is concerned you can not have a rogue admin that is rounding up and killing innocent women and children in Lasanod, starting a war on their regional neighbours, defying the advice of UN and international communities, while at same they have a special arrangement just because they want a phantom country that never existed and will never exist. The federal government is the sole legal, sovereign entity that should have a say on how aid is distrubuted and managed in their own country. It is same for all countries in the world. Aid can be used to overthrow, weaken institutions of any government therefore that is why it goes through the legally recognised government in any given country. So it is no different for Somalia. The Jeegan admin is in open war with Puntland and giving them a special arrangement that include direct aid, security sector development, budget support is not acceptable as it gives them unfair advantage over Puntland. Otherwise Puntlabd should get same special arrangement until SSC issue is resolved. The IC can not ignore the demand of the federal government and they know that. That is why they say they want the status quo to continue but they want 'the no objection of the federal government', which should never be granted or Puntland will have serious issue with that. The resolution of this issue will be that the IC grants a special arrangement for both while also having a special arrangement for the disputed areas as they miss out big time on development aid because they are claimed by both sides.

What is Pirateland going to do when the donors ignore their begging letter? Dont say they are planning on going back to live off piracy if Puntland failed to regain, Muse Ooyaaye would not be sending letters to UN's general secretary and would not ask to "immediately interfere the situation". About the aid, Puntland is street smart when it comes to anything diplomacy and rest assured the IC will listen.
