the Dua that cost Imam of Masjidul-haram his job!

It was the Ramadan of 1422H (some 9 years ago) and Sheikh Al Mohaisanee made this dua and soon after he was arrested and stopped from leading the prayer at the Haram Masjid, listen to it below and don't pay much attention to the still pictures coz its not necessarily how the Sheikh said it.

I am now weary of saying Ameen to duas after watching this. Far be it for me to question someone knowledgeable in deen but all those people said Ameen to a dua that was meant to cause suffering and destruction to an entire country not bearing the fact there are muslims and innocent people who reside in that country.

 

Whatever happened to asking for guidance? Has hate and pain blinded us this much?

SeeKer, thats one of the problems of residing in Non Muslim Countries!, because you live there you don't want their destruction. The Nabi peace and blessings be upon him used to curse the Kuffar -Roman Empire- and predicted it will fall apart and Muslims will take over.

 

By the way, when he says: 'The Americans' he means the leaders 'the agressors' and not the shacab.

As for residing in non muslim countries I got no comment except this......it is permissible to live in a non muslim country as long as you are allowed to practice your religion openly. The prophet SAW lived in Makkah till he couldn't practice his religion openly anymore and thus undertook Hijrah and with that I will kindly bow out of this discussion. May Allah guide us

Sheikh Al mahaysani was not leading at at the Haram and he he was not arrested or stopped for this.

The sheikh leads a Masjid at Al-azaziya, and that is the masjid he was leading the prayer at when he made this dua.

 

BTW he still does this very dua every year!

The contrived emotionalism of the mullah notwithstanding, it's telling that his sadistic supplication makes a throwback to a famous remark of one Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf, a genocidal maniac of the medieval period. It's one thing to feel umbrage at the foreign policy of muslim and nonmuslim countries. It's an entirely different thing to express discontent by ululating about nihilistic fantasies of widespread violence and destruction.

Nonetheless, I would like to know which of the speakers are more intoxicating to maadey to listen to, is it "sheikh" Osama's incessantly filled harangues or does he favour the soothing and boozed filled pitch of the unconscionable and unapologetic lunatic in the audio?

 

If I didnt know any better, I would say maadey-madiido is undecided and why shouldn't he?

 

Admittedly, the lunatic in the audio has a soothing voice that just makes madiido weak at the knees, a xabeeb that can bring a pregnant lady to her knees as she straps the suicide belt onto herself and her unborn child just as she is heard saying 'allahu akhbar' is serious business, which is the more reason why madiido is confused as ever thinking this maniac deserved the red carpet treatment over his other idol aka "sheikh" osama.

An influential Israeli rabbi has said God should strike the Palestinians and their leader with a plague, calling for their death in a fiery sermon before Middle East peace talks set to begin next week.

 

"Abu Mazen and all these evil people should perish from this earth," Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, spiritual head of the religious Shas party in Israel's government, said in a sermon late on Saturday, using Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's popular name.

 

"God should strike them and these Palestinians -- evil haters of Israel -- with a plague," the 89-year-old rabbi said in his weekly address to the faithful, excerpts of which were broadcast on Israeli radio on Sunday.

 

Saeb Erekat, the chief Palestinian negotiator, said Yosef's latest comments were tantamount to calling for "genocide against Palestinians". The rabbi's remarks, he said, were "an insult to all our efforts to advance the negotiations process".

 

Arriving at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office for a weekly cabinet meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Eli Yishai of Shas declined to comment when asked by reporters about Yosef's sermon.

 

Netananyu and Abbas are due to resume direct peace talks in Washington on Thursday.
