Tallaabo Posted June 5, 2018 Maybe Somaliland is exploring options to join the Ethiopian federation with special treaties and status for economic benefits. With future Ethiopian navy in Somaliland's ports, a modern highway connecting both countries, Berbera serving the Ethiopian market, the Ethiopian electricity grid coming to Somaliland, Somaliland using Ethiopia's post system, Ethiopian Airlines landing in Hargeisa and Berbera as many times as it wants, and many other integration projects in the pipeline, a merger is not a far-fetched idea. Che -Guevara Posted June 5, 2018 I am sorry but Ethiopian Nationalities Day are celebrated in Baydhabo, Garowe, Hargeysa and now Xamar. We insult each other who is closer to Ethiopia meaning doing Ethiopia's bidding yet authorities in the aforementioned cities gladly embrace Ethiopians while insulting each other and by extension people in each other's regions. A sane Somali will see the bigger picture.

Anigu wax aan happy ku ahay iyo wax aan ka xumahayba meesha kumaan sheegin ee waxaan dhiibtay uun ra'igayga. It is just an opinion. And by the way, I noticed there are also several branches of Ethiopian universities operating in Somaliland.
Che -Guevara Posted June 5, 2018 Tallaabo, Ninyahow, get a Tigray. Apparently, that helps in easing the eventual coupling of brotherly nations

A sane Somali will see the bigger picture. Its the same as what you see in America - Russia collusion- They all know have to work with Russia, but accuse each other of who is closer. lol Aidiid was closest to Mengistu until the Bay Bakool area catastrphe and then Mengistu did not last and the new boys in Addis were the opposite side its automatic. Contrary to the false but popular belief Somaliand had always distance from Ethiopia Mengistu or Meles. If Aidiid was to win and Mengistu survived would have been Somalia Ethiopia friendly countries. Mogadishu has propaganda power, what goes under the rag and truth are always different. Kenyans don't suffer from this, only some looser Odinga complained once, but when he saw need for Ethiopian military need when Kenya went almost Ruanda during one election then he shut up. Old_Observer Posted June 5, 2018 For your information Ethiopia's nationalities day is celebrated everywhere there are Ethiopians. In America or Russia mayors governors and some places like Ruanda, Sudan, Ghana even heads of states participate. It is not unique to Somalia. Some cities in California raise Ethiopian flag at city halls. But then again Ethiopia is this football Somalis play against each other without any health benefits for the sport or entertainment value. Almost always with accusations over pointless things. What is wrong sharing happy day of your neighbor. Mengistu was monster, Emperial rule was monster..people got rid of both systems at the same time.
