Love, marriage and romance aren't that easy! But obviously people have convinced themselves that they are, and when they find out it's not that simple, they run to the first QAADI...or divorce lawyer they can find.The divorce rate especially with Somali couples is so high -- people expect perfection, and if they don't get it, they run away (or cheat, which is even worse). Listen up folks! They said ati Love means that you have to put up with someone else’s baggage all the time. It doesn't go away. Love means you have to compromise and you don’t always get your way. And love means that no matter how much you love someone, you really hate them sometimes, too. But that doesn't mean it can't work. You just need to be realistic! First you need to realize that happiness does not come from another person. It comes from inside yourself. At least half of happiness is attitude. Okay, so fine, your significant other isn't perfect. You have two options here: Either you look past their faults and focus on the things you love about them, or you move on and stop wasting their time. Simple as that. People try to claim it's not that simple, but it is. If you want to list 42 reasons why it's just too hard to leave, then chose the first option. Stop convincing yourself that you are miserable and convince yourself that you are happy. It's possible, but only if you give up being a martyr and focus on the positive instead of the negative.
