Brother Mohamed, there is a verse I was quoting my question from. Allah swt says “ We relate unto you (Muhammad Peace and be upon him) the best of stories through Our Revelations unto you, of this Quran….†[surat Yusuf verse 3] Qisatu Yusuf is the best Qisa in the holy Quran as we can read what Allah says in that verse. However, it is possible I misunderstood the verse. And the verse was saying “Qisas†which means stories in plural form and that covers the whole stories of the holy Quran are the best (not only one particular story). Any idea what I am talking about? And what do you think about this?? Walahu Aclam About the other question, you misunderstood it brother. I said Allah ordered our holy Prophet to recite that Surat to one of the Companions, not that I said our prophet asked a Sahabi to recite some Koran for him. I know what you are talking about, but it is two different stories. Here is the story or the question I asked. When Surat Al-Bayyinah (Lam Yakun) was revealed to the prophet, our prophet called Ka’ab bin Malik and told him that Allah has ordered him to recite this Surat to him, Kabba said “did Allah mentioned my name? Then our prophet said, “Yes†then Kabba started crying. What a beautiful. I think you have heard about this story. I wish I could provide the link though. Wiilo Su'aal: Waxaad sheegtaan tobanka aayadood ee markii aad xifdiso Ilaahay kaa xijaabaayo abuu dujaal? lol@abuu dajaal you mean Dajaal Cawar Ramadan Kariim Sister They are the last ten verses of Surat Al-Kahf. However, if we read the whole Surat every Friday, we will also be protected from him! Walahu Aclam

Question: Omar binu Abdulaziz was related to Khalifah Omar ibna Alkhatab, what was the relationship? and give a brief history if you know the story? Good question brother. Omar bin Abdul aziz was one of the great grand sons of Omar bin Khadab. Here is the complete story: very interesting! One night, Caliph Umar as usual went in disguise with his companion Ibn Abbas to see the condition of the people. They strolled from one quarter to another. At last they came to a colony where poor people lived. While passing by a small house, the Caliph heard a whispering talk within. The mother was telling her daughter that the amount of milk fetched by her for sale that day was very little. She told her that when she was young, and used to sell milk, she always mixed water with milk, and that led to considerable profit. She advised her daughter to do the same. The girl said, "You adulterated milk, when you were not a Muslim. Now that we are Muslims, we cannot adulterate milk." The mother said that Islam did not stand in the way of adulteration of milk. The daughter said, "Have you forgotten the Caliph's order? He wants that the milk should not be adulterated." The mother said, "But the Caliph has forgotten us. We are so poor, what else should we do but adulterate milk in order win bread?" The daughter said "Such a bread would not be lawful, and as a Muslim I would not do anything which is against the orders of the Caliph, and whereby other Muslims are deceived." The mother said, "But there is neither the Caliph nor any of his officers here to see what we do. Daughter you are still a child. Go to bed now and tomorrow I will myself mix the milk with water for you." The girl refused to fall in with the plan of her mother. She said, "Caliph may or may not be here, but his order must be obeyed. My conscience is my Caliph. You may escape the notice of the Caliph and his officers, but how can we escape the notice of Allah and our own conscience." Thereupon the mother remained quiet. The lamp was extinguished and the mother and the daughter went to sleep. The next day, Caliph Umar sent a man to purchase milk from the girl. The milk was unadulterated. The girl kept her resolve. CaliphUmar turned to his companion and said, "The girl has kept her resolve in spite of the exhortation of her mother. She deserves a reward. What reward should I give her?†“She should be paid some money," said Ibn Abbas. Caliph Umar said, "Such a girl would become a great mother. Her integrity is not to be weighed with few coins; it is to be measured in the scale of national values. I shall offer her the highest award in my gift, and which shall also be in the highest interest of the nation." The Caliph summoned the daughter and the mother to his court. The mother trembled as she stood before the mighty ruler. But the girl faced the Caliph boldly and with great equanimity. She was beautiful, and there was an impressive dignity about her. Then before the gathering, Caliph Umar related how he had overheard the mother and the daughter, and how in spite of the exhortations of the mother the daughter had kept her resolve. Someone suggested that the mother should be taken to task. The Caliph said that ordinarily he would have punished the mother, but he had forgiven her for the sake of her daughter. Turning to the girl the great Caliph said, "Islam needs daughters like you and as a Caliph of Islam it devolves on me to reward you by owning you as a daughter." The Caliph called his sons, and addressing them said, "Here is a gem of a girl who would make a great mother. I desire that one of you should take this girl as wife. I know of no better bride than this girl of sterling character. In matters of wedlock, it should be the character and not the stature in life that should count." Abdullah and Abdur Rahman the elder sons of the Caliph were already married. Asim the third son was yet unmarried, and he offered to marry the girl. Thereupon with the consent of the milkmaid and her mother Asim was married to the girl, and milkmaid became the daughter-in-law of the Caliph. From this union was born a daughter Umm Asim, who became in due course the mother of Umar bin Abdul Aziz. Umar bin AbdulAziz was elected as Caliph and served for a short period during 717 - 720. Answer for the second question: Zubair Alcawaam and the Prophet were cousins. Brother Muhammad, i did not forget to address you. i will response for that later tonight inshallah.

Warrior, Jazakalahu kheyr for providing the link. Yes, the whole point of that matter is “Allah knows the Unknown (Al ghaib) nobody else.†Here are the two questions I asked earlier! Inshallah, other brothers and sisters will get to try these two questions. May Allah bless you and Ramadaankana idinka Aqbalo!. Which one is the best story in the holy Koran? Who was the Sahabi that Allah ordered Prophet Mohamed (asw) to recite to him one of the Surah of the Holy Koran?
-
Warrior Bonus QN: What was unique about Prophet Suleimans death? Allah swt did not make Jinns to notice that Hazrat Sulaiman was dead. If they had known he was dead, they would not have continued the job they were doing for him and the community. Warrior, you answered the second question. Try the other two questions please!
-
Warrior, you are totally right. The only different I have is the name. I think the girl’s name was Horadya as I have read in some other place. You could be right too. However, you have answered the question.May Allah reward you Kheyr! The first and the second question’s answer is Hazrat Yusuf (asw) New Questions: Which one is the best story in the holy Koran? What is the name of the tree that was cursed in the Holy Koran? Who was the Sahabi that Allah ordered Prophet Mohamed (asw) to recite to him one of the Surah of the Holy Koran?

Viking, nice try saxib, but I have a different answer for that question though! Saad bin Abi Waqas was the first Saxaabi to shed blood of an infidel as he says himself; Just read the article I have provided for you! Repercussions by the Quraysh Saad bin Abi Waqas, (rc) states, "We, the Muslims, could not gather in Makkah for prayers, therefore, we used to assemble in one of the Muslim’s house. This practice was soon stopped due to the strict vigilance of the Quraysh. If the people of the neighbourhood had seen us entering a house, they would have attacked and killed us". "By reason of this, we used to leave Makkah one by one in such a way that they did not suspect us. We used to gather at a far off place to say our prayers. After the prayers, we selected a new place of meeting for the next day. The Quraysh would have easily found us if we had gathered at the same place twice". "One day when we had gathered at a valley named ‘Abu Daud’ for prayers and had hardly been half way through our prayers, that Abu Sufyan and Akhnas bin Sharif attacked us. We had to defend ourselves. I picked up a camel bone lying nearby and hit an attacker’s head. He was injured and returned with blood smearing his face. I was the first person in Islam to shed blood of an infidel." Your question is really a tough one. Will try it next time Inshallah!

" facaa iskadhici " Lol that name is really funny

Well, first of all, I apologize if I offended you and I think I should not have called you any name. As I believe we both agree that the holy Quran did not mention Hur Ain-male. But, I just disagree with you when you said “ There Will Never Be One †so what I was trying to explain to you was it is something we don’t know at the moment and we can’t come to that conclusion at all. See, how simple it was. We should not even talk about this issue that much if you understand my points but unfortunately, you started wandering around without reading my post. Anyway, good luck brother and have fun!

He did not ask a question. In fact he said a statement that has no place in Islam. even if it was a question, he should value or accept the answers we gave him.

Zabaniyah was mentioned in the Quran. I don’t know if it is a group of angels or it is a name for those who guard the hell. Surah Al-Alaq verse 18, Allah says “We will call out Zabaniyah (the guards of Hell)†Allahu Aclam Next question: Who was the first companion or first person in Islam who shed blood of an infidel?
-
Mohamed, thank you! I did not know he was an atheist. Anyway, I was just telling him to refrain talking about something he has no knowledge in it. People like him are those who say something but unfortunately, can’t get their words straight when someone catches their lies and false statements. I hope he will abstain anything that puts him in trouble from now on.

This is funny: Is this how you always discuss with people or you are trying to ignore my question?? This is what you said earlier, "The ones that make to Jannah WILL NEVER have "hur Ain" like their male conterparts" According to the above quote, what i want to ask you is, how did you know that?? Did you take a peek in the Jannah and saw that there would not be any Xureyl-Ceyn-Male in the paradise?? Can you tell us or bring any verse or hadith supporting your above statement?? if not, It is better for you to admit or prove yourself wrong for saying something you have no knowledge in it. we are all human beings and we all make mistake. Morever, to recognize and admit your mistake is part of the knowledge and being a mature person. Still waiting your response. Please, dont try to wander around, just bring your evidence!
-
Johny-B, You are the one who said there will be no xureyl-ceyn-men in the paradise, but i neither said they would be nor i said there would not be any. your problem is you did not read or understand what I said. It is not like I said, the Quran mentioned that there are some Xural-ceyn men in the paradise, but what i said was, they will have anything they want since the Quran says that. That is the point you are missing. That verse tells us that, both men and women will have anything they wish without any discrimination. Even if they want to play soccer they will be allowed to do so. Where is the answer I was waiting from you???? I am still waiting where the Quran says; there will never be xureylceyn-men in the Jannah. If you bring any verse or hadith, there will be no way I will argue with you! But if you don’t have any, please, let’s stop the pointless discussion period.

Proud & Mohamed Jazakallahu kheyran: Egypt was also mentioned in Sura Yusuf verse 21 Allah says “And he (the man) from Egypt who bought him, said to his wife: Make his stay comfortable, may be he will profit us or we shall adopt him as a son.†Proud to Answer your question: they are called Raqiib and Catiid: Question: When the prophet peace and be upon him migrated to Maddinah whose house he lived as a temporary before he was built his house?
-
Proud, that is the correct answer: Answer to m u h a m m a d’s question:: ‘Prophet Huud was sent to ‘Ad and Prophet Saalax was sent to Thamud: What are the two cities and one country that were mentioned in the holy Koran? Please provide the verses if you can.

Originaly posted by Johnny B The ones that make to Jannah will never have " hur Ain" like their male counterparts ,as there is no male Hur ain" Before I answer you question, can you bring or tell us any verse or Hadith that says Muslim women will never have Hurul-ceyn-men in the paradise??? Care to share with us; we might learn something from you and thank you in advance: In general, it is true that the Koran did not mention it. However, that does not mean the rewards of women will be less as compare to men. In fact, there are couple of verses tell us that all Muslims regardless of their gender will have anything they desire and wish. Since you can’t bring any verse or Hadith, that says Hurul-ceynis are only for Muslim men, I would like to conclude my response with this verse and I hope it will give you a brief response to your inquiry: Allah (SWT) says “For them (pious men and women) there will be therein all that they desire and they will abide there forever…†[sura 25, vs. 16]

Originally posted by Khayr: At the time of the revelation of the Qur'an 1,400 years ago, women were not as knowledgeable in business affairs as men. Scholars have interpreted these verses and confirm that if women are equally knowledgeable, which is often the case today, then their evidence is equal to that of men The Islamic religion should fit and be practiced in any century whether it is 7th century or 21st century. if we interpret the above quote, there is another thing need to be considered... So, if we say, a woman and man are equal for being a witness because these days women are as intelligent as men then, what I am asking myself or everybody should ask himself is ---Allah did not know there would be some women who are knowledgeable about business affairs?? We can also ask, does this verse need to be reinterpreted or re-considered? Well, I think the verse did not say there MUST be two women. The only reason I am saying this is, if you keep reading the verse, you will see, the only reason that two women are needed is (if) one forgets the other one will remind her, this could be because of the importance of the debt and anything that related to this matter . However, I am not a scholar, if you share with us what the Jamhur-al-ulima says about this matter or you have anything different than what they say, bring it on.
-
That is cool brother, May Allah bless you, bring it on. I hope we will all benefit from it!
-
These quotes seem fine and logic, even thou; our religion is not an opinion. However, if we say at the time of this verse was revealed women were not that educated and knew nothing about business affairs, how about Khadija, Bintu-alkhuwela, who was a rich and well-known business woman and lived at that time? How those interpretations should be applied and connected into this matter?

Of course, anything that you did not do intentionally or you forget would not invalidate your fast, but the problem of toothpaste is you already know it is hard to avoid when you using toothpaste and it goes into your throat without noticing it. So, it is better to be very careful and use a very small amount of it.
-
Rahima, that is a good question. Let me try to answer it for you. First of all, it is not necessary for any person to swallow something in order to find out its taste. It is with the front part of one's tongue that one finds out how something tastes. If a woman/man puts a small piece of her/his cooking in her/his mouth in order to feel its taste with her tongue, her/his fast remains valid. So, I believe using a tooth paste is same like this one. But if you consume, or swallow or if even a little of the actual toothpaste goes down your throat, even if indirectly by affecting the saliva, it would invalidate the fast. Walahu Aclam.
