  6. The system is far from ideal for example one of the problems is that the face is not the only part of the body that contributes to overall attractiveness, even if it(the face) has relative lower ratings it can be compensated by other features unfortunately the face is the only part where there is consensus as to what is considered attractive. Another problem is the knowledge base is comprised of the ratings of 30 individuals although this may be enough for a thesis but a much larger sample size is needed for greater accuracy for realistic judgments. nonetheless it is a great technical achievement whereas before image-recognition based software could only distinguish between male and female faces 90% of the time.
  7. ^ caafimaad is very important at that age who wants to go back to being in diapers .... better to be dead then to be senile
  8. ^ looooooool, my thanks FB i see you played an instrumental role in exposing him in the original post as well. I knew that somehow his Qabil based politics could not have been unaware of that. and before you say 'He was not an Ambassador' he was the U.S representative for Somalia on behalf of A/Y government........ now that i have robbed you of your excuse
  9. ^ looooooooool, nice pic dumarka mujaahidiinta ah miyaa ?
  10. This software is a combination of Mathematical, and heuristic based approaches i.e Symmetric feature result in a higher rating , and a knowledge base is at work where participants are asked to rate the 'attractiveness' of different female faces. Roughly speaking this system works like the 'recommendation system' in amazon or Netflix: when you search or purchase a book or movie an algorithm produces a list of books, movies that you 'might' be interested in based on the 'history' of users with similar tastes. using the 'average' of the preferences of the sample ratings already obtained combined with the algorithm this system produces surprisingly accurate results. Although many people cannot describe very well what features contribute to an attractive face but it is generally agreed upon whether a particular face is attractive or not. Most people can tell you if the person they are looking at is attractive, but they can't tell you why they think so. Now, a Tel Aviv University student has developed software to crack the age-old problem of identifying facial features that would be considered beautiful by most people. "Until now, computers have been taught to identify basic facial characteristics - like is this a woman's face or a man's," explains Amit Kagian, who developed the program for his master's thesis in computer science. Note: before anybody says what about judging Male attractiveness Nonetheless, the experiment only involved women's faces, as there is a greater variety of positions regarding male beauty. now that i have got that out of the way im relatively safe from the ladies source
  11. war cungu af-xumaa ma islaantuu sidaas ula hadlayaa , looooooooooool
  12. ^ a bit of advice .. most likely your fried would have talked to you about it already but just in case he/she hasn't. 'Domain name front-running' has become a big problem in the last few years ... what happens is that before you register your domain your going to have to search whether it is available or not through the 'Whois' functionality provided by the registers.... If you do not register it right away and wait for even as little as 24 hours you, will find the register has scooped up your name and will hold it 'hostage' , to be sold back to you for much more than the original price was.... so once you find that the name you are looking for is available do not hesitate.... there is a 5 day grace period that you can take advantage of, if you have reservations and get a full refund within the grace period. Another danger is expiration of the domain name.. usually people only register on a year-to-year basis i strongly recommend against it because your register will not inform you when your domain is about to expire and their are companies that are 'domain squatters' whose business model is based on hunting domains that are about to expire the owners are unaware of and registering it for themselves only to sell it back to you for $$$$ or they might not even sell it back to you if it is a really good domain name..... try to register for 10 year period it is relatively inexpensive and a sound business decision considering the risk. I personally do not host a site but I have heard many terrible things about godaddy so i would advise that before you take that leap be prepared and consult with a technical person who has experience in this area. in the meantime read the below articles for more details regarding what i mentioned above Domain Tasting Domain name Front running Domain squatters
  13. ^ This thread is greatly appreciated adam. when do you expect your site to be up and running

  15. ^ are you serous ? for an ardent supporter of TFG you are clueless A/Y appointed his 28 year old nephew who is a grocer to be they TFG representative to the U.S. The guy even claimed who is a graduate of Washington state Univ. it was later found out he attended for 1 semester. i think it was about 1 year and a half ago...but im sketchy on the details on how it turned out
  16. ^ Perhaps you forgot about 'Koshin Mohammed' "What this man has been doing is bouncing around from person to person trying to find a way into this building," says a State Department official in a position to know Mohamed's status, speaking on the condition of anonymity. "This man has no bona fides. He's presenting himself with all sorts of different titles he doesn't have." As for the proposed aid request Mohamed says he submitted, the official says: "It would not be considered an official document. We deal with the government ofSomalia through our embassy in Nairobi."
  17. ^ That is the biggest problem with FB. your settings are only as strong as the weakest link on your chain of friends. if you have your privacy settings locked down all it takes to a friend who has access to your albums who is less worried about privacy issues to compromise you most of the time unwittingly. Imagine you have 100s of friends some with very low privacy settings each in turn with 100s of friends with equally low settings. Example: you have a friend A who has a friend B who in turn has a friend C. you do not know B or C. C has strict privacy polices, but since B is of his friends he can vew/comment on C's album. B has mini-feeds enabled so A receives a message that B commented on the album of C which is now accessible to A via B's page. A does something(updating profile)that results in a mini-feed coming your way .. and you happen to go to A'ss page that has listed a mini-feed saying his good friend B has commented on a pic in C's album (niether you or A know C)which is now also accessible to you. Note: This problem was fixed a few weeks ago . but it is one case of the many privacy concerns with FB
  18. I cannot stand the amount of songs in a single movie have never been able to sit through a complete one.
  19. ^ Im all for anti-racism but this sounds more ignorant and xenophobic than racist I wouldn't be surprised if he actually thought that all black are from one country. And can the police can caution somebody because of a comment like that  ... the world is going crazy .
  20. ^ ............ ppl are looking at me like im crazy *grinning from ear to ear* asking what are you so happy about ..... when i explained that the death and destruction of the xabash filth ........ they are
  21. ^ brave men .... the intelligence they can provide is priceless to the resistance.
  22. ^ picking off these xabash one by one
  23. ^ I am surprised more people do not feel the way Ngoge does .... my sentiments exactly. I opened the account because the Muslim students Association send out notification of events on their FB group. My biggest reason is the privacy settings are a complete joke and their is no way im uploading pictures of myself or other personal info on that junk.... i literally have 100s of friends requests and applications that i have not accepted when im asked i just tell my friends that yes i have an account but no i do not use it at all. loooool, I hate FB so much 3 co-workers and i lobbied the IT-manager to setup a policy to block it on our proxy our report detailed a bunch of security risks (most of which have been fixed by now)you would not believe how !@#$ ppl were ........ after a month the policy was reversed.
  24. ^ JB you are getting a free pass because most of the anti-secessionists such as myself have bigger fish to fry at the moment namely the Ethiopians and the TFG apologists.
