Koora sida weel madhan wixii rabo ayaa laguugu shuban kara yaah .... did you hear that lil tidbit on Faux news ??? I'm disappointed yaa Koora it appears i have given you too much credit. to protest on behalf of any group is not an abuse of a right granted by the government in fact quite the opposite The right of assembly was originally closely tied to the right to petition. One significant case involving the two rights was United States v. Cruikshank (1876). There, the Supreme Court held that citizens may "assemble for the purpose of petitioning Congress for a redress of grievances." Essentially, it was held that the right to assemble was secondary, while the right to petition was primary. Later cases, however, have expanded the meaning of the right to assembly. Hague v. CIO (1939), for instance, refers to the right to assemble for the "communication of views on national questions" and for "disseminating information." I would suggest you read up on Right to petition in the United States and Freedom of assembly not even your beloved neo-cons can change this ... and just incase you believe in human rights The right to form groups, to organise and to assemble together with the aim of addressing issues of common concern is a human right. The ability to organise is an important means by which citizens can influence their governments and leaders. The right to freedom of association and assembly is protected in international and regional human rights treaties. These rights are applicable to any issue. Mass protest is a potent symbol of the exercise of this right. I'm a firm believer of "Hadii la dhimanayana xataa dhareerka waa la iska duwaa" ... lakin whoever has already decided on prostituting himself to uncle sam ... hadii lagu aadamo xataa wax ka tari mayso

  24. Lily you didn't get the point i was making.. I agree with you said my issue is not with people opposing resistance but for what reasons ? from what i have noticed there are three groups: 1- Political grounds 2- Qabil grounds 3- Religious grounds The ones who oppose the resistance on political grounds have legitimate concerns and may not agree with everything but this is not the time we are engaged in a war with the filthy xabash any political considerations can be settled once this threat is dealt with. The Qabil based ones I don't have to explain to anybody .. those who either oppose the resistance because they have this lopsided belief that the resistance is comprised of one qabil or the ones that have a brother/uncle/relative who works for the TFG in whatever capacity as much as i despise this group it is something very common among Somalis in general. The worst group the one I was ranting about oppose the resistance on religious grounds they masquerade as the second group but there is a difference if you pay attention ... while the qabil based thinkers constantly cling to 'adeer' or 'tol' these guys slip in comments like " They are attempting to establish an Islamic state in the horn of Africa" or hebel is an Islamist is if it is an accusation. you may not agree with the How an Islamic state should be setup in the horn of Africa but if someone is against an Islamic government period then that person is in the third group and I would take the Qabil obsessed one over him/her anytime ...
  25. I read this last week and an Indian ( Hindu) colleague of mine told me that This is an Indian tradition done by some Hindus and ignorant Muslims and is in no way a Muslim custom as is trying to be portrayed by the article but putting Muslim in the title does attract a larger audience .... all the 'look at these evil, ignorant Muslims..lets invade them and teach them how to be civilized'
