^ It is especially tough for new engineering graduates .. the market is now flooded with laid off, but experienced engineers. and a graduate engineering degree will help you with two things: - it will cut the time in half .. that you are required to work in your field before you are granted a license to practice engineering .. from 4 years to 2 years. - it will help you out, in promotion to management. but without experience to back it up, it will not be easy to get your foot in the door. goodluck with it sxb.

Abu sxb, I was in transit. this was very close to 9/11 time .. so everyone was paranoid .. I got the same treatment in bahrain. I was not the only person, at least 4 other brown/black guys were pulled out of the line on that occasion. they were asking me of where I was going, and the visa stamps on my passport and why i went to those places .. over the last 9 years ... I faced my biggest headaches in heath row airport. once I was prevented from boarding a flight because they wanted to 'interview' me .. which consisted of a 3 hour interview asking me the same bunch of questions over again ... 2 times after that .. I didn't get interviewed but they still kept in the line while checking my documents. I am going on vacation next month, I just payed 10% extra on my ticket to avoid passing through the UK.

I do sit in on some of those meetings to provide answers/clarification on the technical scope of the project. my work stopped as soon as the project was put on hold, my friend who does deal with the contractual side of it .. is still knee deep in sh!t ... marka I know what you mean
