^ Yep Phil showed his true colours, he is a spoilt child. And why oh why did Mona go?! She was on top of the world last week an now she was being portrayed as homophobic and backward simply because she dnt think they were the best ppl to target. Debraha (aka raging ox) should have got fired, there is noway she can win. well all is not lost, she is still stunning.
-
Well if she doesn't know where you're from, then you pretend you dnt have a clue where she is from...jst say "where did you say you were from?" OMG I am somali too.... good luck!
-
^ hello. have to write an essay which is due in 2mrw,(so I naturally come in here) in front of this beautiful screen all day. how was s.land? planned your nxt trip already?
-
good morning ppl of the world. *yawn, I think its going to be a loooong day*
-
^ Tea of any kind. hmmmmm.
-
I think its more that the men that are paranoid about being labelled a miskeen than girls `hating` that type of guy. Perhaps you guys jst need a lil reasurrance, THERE'S ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING WRONG WITH A MISKEEN! I think most girls end up being hitched to one. Now you can all come out of the closet!
-
hahahaa sadly yes, its a bit of a handicap I would say, like dragging a dead leg everywhere! U an your camera are both miskeens no?
-
hahaha are these poor guys a turn off? Perhaps they are too consistent, a lil surprise never killed anyone. U btw Marx do not seem the miskeen type
-
nice to have SOL back!
-
^ no offence but I hate that book, did you get to the end, you must have a LOT of patience.
-
Its a good thing your not Alan Sugar dear, you would hire all these annoying, crazy people. looove da apppretice too although I am tempted to give it up after this weeks episode. I was watching it through clenched teeth, so embarrassed for Kimberly's team and then Mona (who is stunning btw) telling marketing giants they are not allowed to wear their pants outside their clothes b/coz only pants man can do that! Bisinka. Woman get a grip. I use to like Philip but he is just a stroppy little boy, not a team player at all. How did Nurul get through? Why is that thug (Ben) still around? I agree with you about Howard, he is very sneaky an wil not get that far. James all the way say I.
-
^ I feel sorry for the poor man already you crazy woman! hahaha@ howling, it might be easier to kidnap him dear until he agrees to the full terms and conditions of your proposed mariage.
-
^hahaha, great read Siren, but am serioulsy would you pursue a guy so earnestly? And bearing in mind one of the conditions for the "campaign" is that it has to be successful do you tink suffocating him would be the right approach. I agree with you if a guy seems amazingly right for you in everyway (and no, not the one every other girl in the neighbourhood has a crush on) then it would be a shame not to somehow show you are interested but in a more subtle way I would say, although this will have to be imaginative and might take as much military planning as the full onslaught you outlined. Either way is v. brave and the guy has to be completely worth your time and effort. Happy (tactful) pursuing!

hahaha thanks for sharing, its true that you can go through the whole education system and only wake up the day you get your first job.
-
^^^ hahahaha @ here she comes. jst stop listening and mayb she will get the mes. I had a friend like that, would phone me to tell me the most minute things that annoyed her during the day, things that really u shouldn't even waste your own time thinking about let alone bore someone else with  I realised after a while she was completely self obbessed and not worth waste time on, jst ignored her phone calls after that an she seemed to have got the mes. Don't think some ppl will ever change. Try hanging out with some other ppl so its not jst the two of you and she won't have the opportunity to moan in your ear.

hahaha. Go Susan go!

Single Mothers on the rise in the somali community
chubacka replied to Sir-Qalbi-Adeyg's topic in General
Originally posted by Legend of Zu: If Qalbi phrased in a way that he wants a general discussion and not a real debate then he should have phrased the topic headline as a question rather than a definitive statement or could have asked the impact of single parenthood...or something along those lines... on the other hand some responded by looking it from different angle but the dude that he is Qalbi refused to accept the flaws in his statement. BTW what is mite? mite= might Yep I agree with you perhaps he could have phrased it differently as I assumed he wanted a general discussion on this issue and perhaps a ? on the end of his tread would have solved all these probs. Evenso we cannot expect every thread on SOL to have a PHD thesis behind it and we cannot expect every discussion to be based on solid facts, lets not get beyond ourselves. All this pretentiousness is a bit  If Sir Q phrased his tread incorrectly then I think those that responded made the same mistake. -

jst write it as your signiture, that will save you a lot of time an bother and it might let the issue actually be discussed. As they say there's no smoke without fire so most of the so called "BS" is based on something which mite or mite not warrant a discussion. -

Oh brother, the poor guy only wanted to have a general discussion in a discussion forum, why don't you jst sue him for his audacity? honestly you ppl need to calm down, stop thinking about "preserving" some elusive reputation an just discuss these topical issues without being so ridiculously petty. If you disagree with his observations then jst say so. Noone is talent spotting on SOL, I think thats one thing I can say for sure (obviously if they were I would have been contacted years ago ) -
 @ Sir Q. Can you plz make your own tread of annoying thoughts *if thats wot you call them*
-
^^^^ hahahahah. I wonder if she got it in!

great book, worth reading. Epic, ambitious, and triumphantly realized, Half of a Yellow Sun is a remarkable novel about moral responsibility, about the end of colonialism, about ethnic allegiances, about class and race—and the ways in which love can complicate them all.

^ her defence was that she was in charge of the calculator an that seems to have infuriated the old man. backing Mona to win but it will probably be one of the guys as a woman has to work 10 times harder than a man to have any chance of winning in that show.
