I heard British Airways asking their staff to do this a while ago. I would do it for an agreed limited time I think (I would probably job hunt also) but no longer than a month, anymore would be asking too much.

^ haha @ disappointment. Men also tend to gain weight after they are married but for many reasons they find it easier to drop the pounds in the long run. I think these agreemtments (i dnt think they are widespread) are just a waste of time, realistically, will the man divorce the woman because she put on some weight? I think not. She is still the same person and people change all the time. She is still the woman he married, and if he really is disturbed if she puts on weight after marriage, then he should be proactive and help her lose it and tone up himself. It jst seems a hurtful and unproductive thing to think about BEFORE you have even married the woman.

Who is for the diraac sheed (spelling ?) @ home and whos for casual wear? My dearest mother is always running after me with one of her flowery diraacs saying ALL somali girls wear them @ home. To be fair they are comfortable (although usually too long, do they only come in one size?) but is there some unwritten rule that these are traditional home wear or are they more for middle aged women? I accepted one this morning to save a lecture, but I think being @ home means jst wearing the nearest thing you can find and has less to do with culture and tradition and more to do with convenience and comfort.

Well worth a listen, married or single.

this looks like a distorted playground, little boys with rudimentary weapons that make them feel powerful. The tradegy is everyone has to suffer because of this madness. unbelievably sad.

^ Go to the Doctors they should be able to help. if you have one target for today, what is it?

Noone should be told what to wear and what not to wear by a politician. If he wishes to give women diginity then give them sum credit for choosing their own wardrobe. This is jst a cheap shot which will only add to anti-muslim sentiment.

May Allah make it easy for you, also an idea would be to take the kids to their grans or something while you recover if that's possible.

^ Ameen. truly sorry for your loss Bob and Fufu. May Allah grant you patience and your brother a high place in Jannah. Ina Lilahi wa ina ileehi raajicuun. Truly to Allah we belong and to Him do we return.

isn't all this good women and bad men a little bit simplistic, and where are all the bad women in your analysis? And we have not even established that divorce is high among somalis. Where is Ng to say his famous line.

^ do you honestly need a hadith to tell you not to snog in pubic? married or not. That's a bit outrageous in itself. Yes muslims will fall short because they, like everyone else are human but we should distinguish the difference between ppl's short comings and what's expected in Islam. Modesty is part of the deen and there is nothing modest about doing those actions that should be done behind closed doors in full view of strangers in a pubic place. It seems sometimes we argue for the point of arguing.

I see you were being your usual helpful self, plz accept my cyber apologies. An that safe does sound vaguely familiar, like the soap dispenser in public toilets always labelled "kimberly" something or other. Now that lady has put her name to good use.
