  1. Abyan firstly good luck with uni, secondly the woman sounds like a nightmare, try this, if you are sitting and she is talking, stand up, then she will think that you have somewhere to go, if she is still going on literally move away say you need to go to the loo or something, try this every time she approaches you. Another thing would be to try and avoid her altogether, don't by any means befriend her as you will be the first person she automatically comes to every lesson. 2. Lily I was starring at no.6 for ages too, thinking if it made sense or not. SS, is that your way of saying I don't have a clue where or what the answers are?!
  3. Why men shouldn't write advice columns. Dear Walter:. I hope you can help me here. The other day I set off for work leaving my husband in the house watching the TV as usual. I hadn't gone more than a mile down the road when my engine conked out and the car shuddered to a halt. I walked back home to get my husband's help. When I got home I couldn't believe my eyes. He was in the bedroom with a neighbor lady making mad passionate love to her. I am 32, my husband is 34 and we have been married for twelve years. When I confronted him, he broke down and admitted that he'd been having an affair for the past six months.I told him to stop or I would leave him. He was let go from his job six months ago and he says he has been feeling increasingly depressed and worthless. I love him very much, but ever since I gave him the ultimatum he has become increasingly distant. I don't feel I can get through to him anymore. Can you please help? Sincerely, Mrs. Sheila Usk. --- Dear Sheila:. A car stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused by a variety of faults with the engine. Start by checking that there is no debris in the fuel line. If it is clear, check the jubilee clips holding the vacuum pipes onto the inlet manifold. If none of these approaches solves the problem, it could be that the fuel pump itself is faulty, causing low delivery pressure to the carburetor float chamber. I hope this helps. Walter.
  4. ^ What did she do? sounds scandalous! As for me I am not talking about any major break up ladies I am talking about creating a healthy distance. I have a couple of friends who insist on calling several times a week so they can analyse EVERY detail of their day, once upon a time I was fine with it and listened with interest but you can only talk about if someone mearnt to give you a funny look in the corridor or if that is just how their face is for so long. While honesty is in theory a great idea I think you can only be brutally honest with ppl you are v. close too and who won't be too hurt. Besides they need to work out for themselves that they should not be so paranoid about things in the first place and that they should not waste so much time worrying about insignificant things. So you see ignoring the phone and saving yourself an ear ache is really the way to go.
  5. ^ Marshallah. Then you can make your own laxoox.
  6. The problem with trying to distance yourself from unhealthy or plain boring friendships is the guilt you are made to endure, especially if you have known the people for a long time. How many phone calls do you have to ignore for them to get the message? How many messages on FB? You cnt help feeling rubbish especially if you can't exactly say what the hell annoys you about them.
  7. They say they are looking forward to learning a few tricks from the international players.. Probably the coolest grannies in the world.

  11. The only chance of change they have is from outside powers. Similar to an iraq expedition to be freed from this hell hole.. Outside intervention isn't the answer, look at Iraq, many people have said that it was better and safer under Saddam than the madness it has decended into now, despite the millions that were suppose to spent be there. The mess the same outside forces have made of Afghanistan is clear to everyone. I say its a blessing there is little chance of them going into Eritrea, if they did it would be for their own interests and not for the good of the general public. Humans are adaptable, and even though we watched this report with sadness probably the day to day life there is much like that of other african countries, as in people just get on with their daily lives albetit probably more careful about who they speak to and what they say in public. This is life at least the place seems relatively safe and peaceful for the general public. With time this guy will be removed from power (look at Mugabe, whoever imagined anyone could budge him, even a little) and a new chapter will open for Eritria, if its better or worse than the current one only time will tell.
  12. It is very sad that Eritreans fought 50 years just to be oppressed by fellow eritrean.. Leaders oppressing their own people is nothing new but this is oppression on a different level, imagine needing official permission to own a mobile or being conscripted into any random profession regardless of your wishes and I don't want to imagine how many secret jails there are dotted about the place. Evidently creating a constant climate of fear and suspicion of others works in keeping everyone in their assigned place. She paints a very grim picture and sadly doesn't speculate about any chance of change.
  13. Thanks v. interesting. That level of security is mind bloggling, not surprising people risk their life trying to escape although as the reporter said "Noone is officially allowed to leave Eritrea!" The only chance of change seems to be with the death or overthrow of that young looking President and from this report the latter looks almost impossible.
  14. hahaha@ reciting an "islamic" oath and converting the robber. You would think he would jst want to get rid of the man waving the baseball bat around.

  19. "Baran" boasts the most achingly beautiful closing moments of any movie in recent memory." Baran operates on three levels: as a story about a contemporary social problem; as a love story; and as a parable in which spiritual purity is attained through selflessness. Baraan part 1 This kept me up last night. heart wrenching.
  20. ^ Ameen. mindless bloodshed. What I would like to know is how this will ever benefit anyone.
  21. ^ Wouldn't read ANYTHING written by that woman again after encountering them princess books. I wouldn't be suprised if half the things are made up for entertainment.
