What better option do we have than Prof Jawari who is a constitutional expert? He was the head of Somali constitutional experts behind the current constitution. One thing I am telling you is that Maslax is not running at all. You also forgot Saacid Farax Garaad. As it is now, most votes, if not all of them (14) will probably be in Farmajo's favor. The spokesperson of the new MPs said that they (the MPs) are united and will put their full weight under any candidate that was deemed to be the most serious contender for the top hot seat. Simple!

One thing for sure is that the composition of the new parliament is far better than the previous one. I am glad to see people like Sado, Galaydh, Godah, Hosh, Arab, Garjex, Gaas and hundred other learned good people are MPs and can make huge difference and serve the country in good faith.

All this is irrelevant now. Somalia should first concentrate on liberating new cities and towns and build effective well disciplined army and police, independent judiciary and start from bottom up with good governance then the Somaliland issue wont be a problem can easily be dealt with.
