Today' NYT ran a story on the suffering of the Black Iraqis in today's Iraq. I was surprised to know the community is 1.2 million strong. However what was not a surprise to me was the treatment handed out to this ancient community by the Iraqi Arabs. In fact the same could be said for all Blacks in the Arab World.
