I'm very sorry for him.

You beat me to it Keynan. The company in question is called Range Resources. http://www.rangeresources.com.au/ And yes Tudor Capital did buy into it. It is a hedge fund out of London. These hedge funds are very shrewd. They must know something. If that is so and there is oil. Then the deal has got to be declared invalid. But who will do this. What of authority.

Peacenow, We been rejected by other "blacks" simply because of these features you mentioned above. I always though you ashamed of these somali features because they were not too africans. Allamagan. You bought up a very congent point there. We have been abandoned by other blacks. The vultures are feasting on Somalia and we have not seen a murmour of dissent from the Africans. What has led to this? Why is this the case. Is it because, all of the years of the way we have held our nose in the air at them has cause this. I'm trying to understand this. It's very important.

I think it is the only good thing left that we have. We haven't got anything else. Complete Arabization. Poorest people in the world. So yes, big up on that big forehead, soft hair, and slim nose.

My distate for them is not primarily rooted in any fallout from any personal interaction, rather it is based on the scale and ravage their culture and norms have had on the Somali people. I believe that this influence, has been wholly negative. We have replaced our original culture with a system that puts Arabs are the top of the chain. You can guess, where Somalis are in that. We have been totally Arabized. The result is that the people, don't know who they are or where they are from. The result are plain to see. Somali women as young as 10 are walking around, lookin like ghosts. Not even the godly Arabs, do that. Without any education of any use whatsoever, apart from learning a religious book by heart. Take these suicide bombers. One of them (Omar) his parents were killed in Somalia. The Brits take pity on him and take him in. Literay, when a couple adopt him. The world at his feet. 17 years later, his Arabization is complete and he is now acting on impulse. The Arabs sit back and laugh their head off. And the loser didn't even succeed too. His bomb didn't work. Typical This has nothing with religion, so if you are going to attack me on that. I would say to you, that is none of your business. Religion is your private matter, it is nothing to do with anyone.

To think the British will now have pay to keep these people, fed and housed in prison for the rest of the lives. They really are good for nothing.

Why are posting this. What relevance is there for this story?

The shame and the shame, just grows stronger and stronger. The UK has just convicted the July 21st failed bombers. Guess who is amongst them. Yes you guessed it. Their pictures are allover websites around the world and will no doubt be in the front pages tommorow. Let us see, if their glory of the 'Arab/Islamic Brotherhood' can help them from rotting away in jail. I hope they never see daylight. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article2048575.ece

I want to give my take on one of the most foul traits I have seen in Somalis. I can't say this has been recent, because I have seen these traits for a long time. I'm talking about the use of persistent foul language and in general a thuggish attitude and persona, one gives. What gives? When young people to the people who have power. Resort to crude languages that serves no purpose other than to show their lack of education. Every other word is laced with a cocktail of bad words that means that conversations, meetings, interviews, turn into arguments and fist fights. A so-called government minister is interviewed in a international channel and displays ''clownish'' behavior unseen in other people. Personally insults the host women and is seen shouting into the mike. His voice oblivious to others that are trying to engage him. What must people think? Is this how we really are? Last week, I was watching BBC report on Rwanda. They were interviewing people, including government minister. Everyone of them, spoke in a clear, lucent manner, where they chose their words carefully- that left me very impressed. I can only put forward a clear reason for this and that is a lack of education. It is very important today, that we can put forward the best possible name and image for Somalia/Somalis that we can, it is the least we can do. I think we owe it to ourselves to speak in a clear and articulate way that projects a good impression.

Jacaylbaro, my gosh. The Gulf States are amassing $400Billion dollars a year, every-year. That is surplus to their requirement. They have already spent billions on infrastruture and hospitals, everything on top of that goes in investments. Then they earn more money again when it is invested in property or funds. It just goes on and on. They are earning more money than they know what to do with. They honestly don't know what to do with it all. If anyone should be helping the Palestinians, it should be them. Why waste column inches, when ethiopian soliders are enjoying volleyball on somali beaches.

Don't trust anyone in this business. Chase the money I say. You can find a lobbyist in Washington who can sing your praises to high noon, if you have top dollar. Remember that Vietnamese guy who annoys all of us. Pham? (J. Peter Pham, Ph.D. World Defense Review columnist) The articles he writes. The hate he spews for Somalia. When he casually advocates the dismantling of the country. You guessed it. He gets paid by the Ethiopian government in Washington to do so through law firms they hired. It's a crooked network and all of them are for hire.

Ranneberger: Asmara group lacks support from people
Peacenow replied to Gordon Gekko's topic in Politics
If as you say, he A/Y has the support of the people. Why is he hiding behind a foreign force? It's no brainer really isn't it. -

Jacaylbaro you are right again. He would say wouldn't he? If Sharif was in power. There is noway he would go down the road of selling out the country to the Americans. The 'Asmara' group - god I had that name. It should be changed to something like the 'The Movement' have the popular support of the majority of the people. And that is a fact. -
No he is Nigerian! Best news of the day for me.

If this man is not the personification of 'corruption' I dont know what it is. Just by looking at him, you can see what he is. Look at him, he gorges on food, while the women of this place are sold to french soliders. They say countries get the leaders they derserve. If so, are these people are a true reflection on us? Every other country has mostly responsible leaders. Look at Singapore or the UAE. Why are we full to the brim with this ogre uncaring charlatans and turncoats.
-
It would leave them in the dust. But let's be clever here. Let's try and identify here, who in the community will need to do this so we get the effect we need. It's no good asking the poor women and children in Somalia today with no food, to reconcillate.
-
If this is so then this is shameful. If this is not true then it is part of what would be a well orchestered campaign to ruin this government. Either way, they will be getting nervous in Khartoum these nights.
-
He would be fool hardly to attempt this, I believe.
-
Can they fight on all three fronts? With Somalia West, Eritrea and of course in Somalia?
-
Somalia is being colonised while many people have their head in the sand. Knowing that, but feeding the people with lies and tidbits to assuge themselves that it is not true. If only the truth would go away they would say, while they console themselves in this present terrible existence. http://www.sirdoon.com/index.php?itemid=332

After what he done in the ****** War, I will look forward to the day when he dies.

Che-Guevara & BOB, you raised good points, but I will single out BOB here, you yet again cannot separate religion and race. My post was not a attack against religion but against the common views that Arabs, hold. The Blacks now hate us, because Somalis have till the sky above looked down on them and told them they are not Black and are Arabs. We told them since we members of the Arab League that we are not part of them. But the tables have turned. Some African countries are making progress, even Nigeria is improving, everyday. BOB mentioned South Africa, Somalis are singled out for this. We are different, we claim, but then they say, yes indeed you are and then kill us. I have lived in Dubai and I know how Arabs think. If you are Black, you are indeed, without rights. Look at how whites are treated over there, like royalty. Its worse in Saudi Arabia. You go figure. I recently came across a article by Gamal Nkumurah in which this is documented-http://weekly.ahram.org.eg/2002/598/li1.htm.
