I watched one of istunka annual rituals. I must say it should be banned or at least its light version be practiced since old habits die hard.

Taleexi replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
Truth to be told and,the book must/should be open to scrutiny but imperialists have consistently favored friendly indigenous groups throughout history while depriving the rights of those so called unfriendly tribes, is there any secrecy about that? -

Juan Williams is fired. Fox news is outraged.

The guy is smart but his firing is justified. NPR hired him and they have the right to fire him, not only him but anyone else who doesn't represent the values and integrity of their employer. -

Juan messed it up big time. What would be his reaction if President Bush says I feel uncomfortable when I see a group of black people... of course, his blood would hit the seal. -

Ismalura Smith’s publication of An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations, even though not a definitive illustration about the considered issue. Nevertheless, there is some truth therein; self reliance, and being competent are the most proven ways of someone pulling his bootstraps up out of poverty. In the case of ever widening gap between the rich and poor, it is highly unlikely that this exponential growth will slow down anytime soon. Because of globalization, as Freedman explains in his book “World is Flat”, globally, the FEW of each country are getting richer by the day and, unless progressive social programs are carried out concurrent and universally, no progress will be made on this front. However, individually one should commit to education and hard work in order one realizes his/her full potential.
