Its true Kismayu conjures image of endless conflicts and hardship, there’s no avoiding that. In many ways, it's city of two conflicting promises. One can observe signs of a city poised on the verge of greatness and on the other hand you’ll witness a city teetering on the brink of clash again, waiting for the next flash-point; but you’ll also witness an incredible strength and resilience of the people of Kismayu first-hand, Their ability to be as hopeful as ever for brighter future in spite of the tremendous obstacles before them.
