What's with you people and Nurdin, you all should be proud that you have a somali writer. Well I know some do, but lets see the bright side of his views. I haven't read any of his books, but I would be happy to grap one of his books to see what the fuss is all about. Actually this thread made me think about buying his books. If he portrayed his characters in bad images, then its fine , its fiction after all, and anything is possible, he can't write all good things, after all people are not the same, and somalis, have the baaaad and the gooood. So if he portrayed more bad than good, then there must be some things he wants to point out. The images in the books should be shoking, it adds more spice to the story. Go Nurdin

i was so close to apply for nursing course last year, but i didn't. well it's obvious why somali girls would want to apply for nursing. The job is alright, you get employed once you finish, you will always be in demand where ever you are in the world, the money is not all that, but it gives you financial security. and there is peer pressure, family pressure.

So u think they should warp some more cloths on, and you think they are somehow naked.
