  1. No alarming commentary from Farmaajo in the small posted text I read. All the man is, is "Fiqi reerkiisa kama janotago", which sadly most Somalis are, so he is no different than the rest of us. Gabbal laftiisa soo isaga halkaa lataagan Hiiraale is my hero and so is Naasir's saviour Atam, and the SLanders in SOL pay their respect and allegiance to warlord Siilaanyo. Cut a slack and give the man a break, he's no worse than the 550 MP's you have in Mogadishu, and he should not be opposed purely because of his views in the thesis.
  2. This picture is Somalia and not Ethiopia. Canadian forces burning a young Somali boy in Baladweiyn I think if I remember correctly. It was very sad moment, I remember someone was following this case and perssuing justice for the victim against the soldiers in Canada, how did it end? Anyone knows?
  3. Aside the name Siyad Barre (AUN), how on earth can one compare the rule of a military dictator that imprisoned, tortured and killed thousands of opponents, discontinued and banned all forms of political opposition, forced the nation including school children to sing praisal songs(which sadly some in here wrote some of the songs in an ironic way) for him, to a multi-party democracy that allowed opposition groups to speak, that did not imprison, torture or kill anyone because of their polical affilition. Yes, one might argue there was corruption, nepotism or what have you in the 60's but there is no way that is comperable to the Junta.
  4. Looooooooooooool Barre Hiiraale carar hakujiro waligiis. He has not spent spent 24 hrs in the city and the warlord is on the run again.
  5. ^Blame Puntland for everything! Xaajiyow armaad Puntland nightmare kaqaadaa
  6. Hope this conflict ends with minimal loss of life and casualty.
  7. This is a bad start for Shariif Ahmed and the new PM. Why the insistence of anonymous vote from Shariif Hassan, did they pay money and don't want to expose those who are selling their votes.
  8. ^I agree, that's the only issue I have against this form of union. You can marry two but not in one night, that's a bit of a stretch, unnecessary.
  9. Any attempt to re-impose centralized control by Mogadishu would almost certainly open a new chapter in the Somali civil war. Indeed, that's why Puntland has led the way and are great proponents of a federal Somalia.
  10. Che, dee Somaliland waa part of Somalia, only colonised by the British.
  11. ^ In both instances he made a bold move, right?
  12. Originally posted by NGONGE: ^^ It matters to anyone following Somali affairs, saaxib. If you keep on asking such pointless questions, the SOL kids may start a riot and complain about you (and Al Shabab) encroaching into their cyber territories. Dee naga daa. True they sometimes forget that secessionists are still part of Somalia. What annoys me the most are those who ask why secessionists come to a Somali forum such as this, it's stupidh really.
  13. ^Don't take everything serious, notice the laugh emeticon at the end of my reply. Marka SSC we share a lot and like the movement. Originally posted by Taleexi: Qandali Maxaad SSC hubka ugu diiday ma kolay adiga kula soo aadayaan... cajaa'ib mise marqaankii kaluunka baad ka dhex aragtay Waar Taleexi the whole thread was kaftan, nin rag miis kula kaftami jirayaa u egtahay waa sidee saaxib.
  14. Originally posted by Libaax-Sankataabte: He should start with the Foreign Minister and name a woman. That would be a bold move. Horaa loo yiri, hadal badani haan ma buuxsho. Mr. Prime Minister, since I know you read SOL, take my sincere advice and name a woman for that senior position. It would be earth shattering. I for one welcome that, balse Car hasameeyo taas, dowladiisa xataa minutes majoogayso let alone for days. Not only that, but if he real about it, let him name one of the top ministerial post to woman such Interrior, Defense or Foreign. That would be a day to watch. Asha Abdalla for foreign minister of Somalia, go woman go
  15. ^Waar waa runtaa usheeg xaaji Lool@Zack, OK balse waa shardi inaydaan SSC wax hub ah kutaageeraynin Reer ****- indinku 3da wadan ee Horn lugbaad kuwalaaqaysaan meelkasta, SL xataa ONLF baad kasoo dajiseen, shidada joojiya [ October 19, 2010, 12:41 AM: Message edited by: Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar ]
  16. Waar Puntland baanay xataa Afarka filnayn! Ilaa at least 3 xagaayaga usoo dhacdo, meeshu gaw maleh oo girish maleh. Zack-ow kuwaayagaanu wasiiru-dowlayaal idinka siinaynaa ee bal suga idinku
  17. ^Lol, Nina maya aniga ducayda waa qabaa, hortiisa kheer, gadaashiisa kheer geesihiisa kheer! Balse walaal ninkaan sheekada meeshuu kibilaabay waa nin wax faduul kubilaaba doonayo, waxaan is iri ninkaan dufayskiisu sii qotay oo nin dagaal kusoo tagalay ama sheekadaan Somalia kasocota ayaaba kucusub oo xiiso ayuu uhayaa. Naagaha wax halasiiyo kulahaa, Alshabaab baa kafaa'iidaysanaya oo hada oranaya wakaasaa haday keeneen mid ay gaalo maskaxdiisa software kusoo shubteen.
  18. No, actually he should overlook the whole 4.5 and name all the top posts for the Maxaakimta group. Foregn minister: Muudeey Interior: Abduqadir Omar Finance: Ibbi Defence: Indhacade Information:Yarisow Head of the army: Adan Modoobe Police Chief: Tarzan But this TFG will also have trouble with the warlords who are trying to make a come back.
  19. The whole TFG since from its inception was on the TFG. It's a good idea to stop this formula and change the system but its not a job only a PM can undertake. The greater majority of the Somalis are against the 4.5 power share, even President Faroole had aired his dislike but how practical it is to avoid at this critical moment specially when the Somalis have learnt to use for the past decade as the measuring scale of a fair and balanced government. Any list of names announced for a cabinet post will also include the clan names to see if it meats the 4.5, Dayniile style Qola kastaa waa iska eegaysaa meesha, laf-laf
  20. Lool this guy is full of controvercy, waa nin dagaal kusoo talagalay. His first move was no to 4.5 and now is saying more women for top post and no to lacag to niman ubartay jeebwayne. Somalia iyo isqabqabsigee kucusub ee bal aan uyara sugno dhowr bilood markay 550 MPs oo qayilaad bartay qabqabsi kubilabaan
  21. Warkaa maxaa kacusubna? I thought President Faroole said this in his overly discussed statement: He made few points including the federal system, so what's the new thing here.
  22. Although I like to see the back of Alshabaab anyday, the return of warlord era to Somalia is not good at all, the likes of AbdiShurkri and Hiraale's movement is a warrying trend and yet again a dark start for the country. Wuu qabsaday Balad Xaawo, bal sug aragnee Alshabaab rogaal celiskooda iyo inay wax meesha kuhayaan.
  23. What do you make of his support for the Ahlul-Sunna, I thought it was strategic political move, excellent Mr. PRESIDENT
  24. Loools the secessionists have talked and talked about Faroole to a point where they now analyse his statement word by word, the man is indeed the ruler of a powerful state, you must pay attention to what he says and your obsession is proof to that
