Well, regardless of clan affiliation Abdiwali is at best carried by a Somali man while the other two are foreigners. Amin Amir with this picture is not having a dig on Somalia but only at the TFG as nothing but an institution that's on life support. On the hand he rightly raised Faroole's status and influence to that of the heads of states of the neighboring countries. Amir knows what's he's talking about
  2. ^Loooooooooooooooooooooooool, XX as the rest of the secessionists cidiyo kudirir ayuu kujiraa. Their irrelevance in the Somali stage is resounding so they are trying to overturn that by any means necessary. Waa ismuuji ilaahaw kuwa aad taageeraysid haday doonaan ha ahaadeen maalig iyo jinni iska soo horjeedee

  4. The defense minister of the TFG, ma wuxuu yahay what Xaji Xundjuf calls 'Ethnic Somalilanders' maba ogayn, nimanku jago wayn ayayba heleen hadii defense minister laga dhigayee
  5. Loool @ Xiin Stoic waa sujui malaha mayaqaan ee usheeg. Tell him to google Taleex. TALEEX IS A HISTORIC CITY LOCATED IN BRITISH SOMALILAND
  6. The professor speaks as if there was two equal states. Kabish. The Somalia state of then was more powerful and much more influential than what was British Somaliland. The idea of Somaliweyn and the founder of the SYL were based in Mogadishu. Magadishu was the base of all Somalis from every corner of the peninsula and the British SL had no choice but to be part those people, unconditionally that is, that is exactly what happened and that's exactly what's going to happen when Mogadishu returns and Somalis of all corners embrace that. Soon to c that inshallah.
  7. I was underrating this guy for a while but he seems to be disapproving my earlier belief. Kudos to him.
  8. ^That's true because Turkey had raised these points too specially they emphasised on the issue of reconstituting a proper Somali national force.
  9. ^He doesn't see the conference as a failed one like you do. He actually made some good points and raised few concerns except this: Furthermore, in a decision that clearly contradicts its reaffirmation that the political process should be left to the Somalis, the conference took a clear position declaring the Transitional Federal Parliament members who exercised their authority and followed the democratic process to vote out their speaker are considered “spoilers” of the peace process who should be sanctioned. What's the point of this if the whole parliament and the TFG are getting out of the door in few months time, and also the IC made it clear to punish and sanction any disruptor the aftermath of the TFG and during the implementation of the road map. But I agree with him on these points: Not addressing the issue of toxic damping and illegal fishing on Somali waters Downplaying the need for a strong National force Tackling mismanagement of funding on Somali level but not UN agencies. The above ones are valid concerns but also I don't agree with the suggestion of negotiating and sitting with Alshabaab. I think he's daydreaming.
  10. The person doing it, Cumar Faaruuq, is not from Puntland and he also used the names of other journalists from Mogadishu, the article explains that. Gosh! You must be thick really. Are you just dragging this for the sake of it or are you not man enough to admit to have got this one wrong and move on. Damn it.
  11. ^The above statement says, their names are in the list. So, their names are used by Cumar Faaruuq, what else is there? Where are the secessionists that can read and understand Somali, ninkaan wax soo fahamsiiya, wali wuu indha adagyahay, no shame.
  12. ^You still adamant, may I explain it for you. waxaa uu ka yimid nin lagu magacaabo Cumar Faaruuq Cismaan This is the guy who did it and he's not from Puntland. He used the names of most of Puntland journalists and some from Mogadishu and their signatures to claim support from the UN agencies that support this sector. It has nothing to do with Puntland, it has even nothing to do with Puntland journalists, in fact they are the victims here. That's the summary of this report. What have you Mr. SAalax?
  13. Lack of comprehension! You need to read the post and get the gist of it, before you make a fool of yourself. If you don't read Somali then its very unfortunate. Hint: It's the opposite of what you are suggesting in your title.
  14. It's funny the secessionist's catch phrases are becoming more ridiculous by the day, everybody that disagrees with them, their line of argument starts with the following: He's the enemy no:1 of SL, The Siyadist - defeated lot, We are the victims and the abused ones, Koonfuria is illegitimate unruly and ********s. Waar dadku qof caqli leh kuma jiro miyaa?
  15. ^Whatever he is, all I said was the man's line of talk was 'my clan' That is not the kind of sensible argument one excepts especially if one is supporting a ridiculous motion as secession. So his argument is 'My clan is better off seceding' loooooooool, that's humorous.
  16. Loooooool @ Beeshiisa, very predictable. The man would have made more sense had used rational reasons to support his case but he spoke like a clan warrior.
  17. Good news. Faroole is capitalising on this issue, yep milk it like it should be.
  18. What I don't understand the most and cannot fathom are the links of her titles to the story. It does not make sense to me at all, is it just me or is everyone feeling the same? I like her as a person but I have to say that she is a poor writer, debater and a commentator yet she wants to write about the most profound issue of our country. A funny brave world. This is not an issue that only eloquence, debating or presentational skills can tackle, but a surplus of knowledge and expertise is required. Also being up to date with the goings regarding the issue. Otherwise you shoot self in the foot. Nice come back though.
  19. Why not, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say, he's the best hope, lets not give up hope, Insha'allah one day will have a peaceful and prosperous Somalia. As for the contest between Shariif and Faroole, this is not even close, one is hard-battled crafty politician and the other good ole sermon reader, kutub yaroo Afcarabi buu lasoo kala baxaayaa noo akharinaaya
  20. In your rush to project failure, do you think a week is long enough to make a conclusion or proclaim failure? Secondly, what would have you liked to be the outcome of the conference to consider it success? Thirdly, it is a simple observation I made from your writing: Its not that everything has failed and you admit that there has been an outcome but you against it notably the road map among other thngs.
  21. ^I wonder why the secessionists always bring and talk about Galkayo when there is no dispute at all, when both communities that live there are not claiming the city from each other. What's with the secessionists and their instigation.
  22. The secessionists are not only confused but also deluded. If , as they wish, they want to breakaway from Somalia then their best bet is to sit down with this weak TFG and steal the limelight. However, if a stronger Somalia with proper and legitimate government emerges their wish is in ruin for no proper and strong Somali government will let part of Somalia to secede. And on the other hand, if you really study the secessionists' argument for seceding is the lack of stability and legitimate government in MOGADISHU, and perhaps old grievances. What else? Waar maanay ahayn Sheekadu sidaa, sababti aad lagoosanasayn maxay ahayna? Waa nala laayay koow, koonfur civil war baa kasocda sadex? Maxaa kale soo tiriya bal ooh waxaan hilaamay, Ingiriis baa nagumaystay, waa yaa kudara, Oodwayne ubax ...
  23. Although SL was mentioned a mere twice during the entire conference, the coverage and debating about on them SOL is nearly 90%, why? I think a great cause of this are the hardcore secessionists but also the unionists that are dragging the issue way out of proportion must know better. Let's talk and debate the achievement, the way forward for Somalia, analayse the memorandum a bit by bit, the announced committees and management groups, the upcoming Istanbul conference. There's more to talk about than dwell on Siilaanyo.
