  1. Carafaa Saaxib, I understand that the two ****'s that live in Burco are at each others throat, markaa the First **** iyadu xageebaa vote-keeda ubadanyahay. On a serious note, this issue shouldn't be exaggerated, the man opposed and went against the establishment and he was rightly obliterated, which Siilaanyo has every right to do, he's the ultimate dong until his time runs out, markaa kadib others should run for office and if they win must dictate matters as they wish. Faroole-ba marbaa laxabadeen jiray exile-na laga dhigay hadana he's the supreme leader, therefore the rule of law must be preserved. Siilaanyo meesha isagaa xukuma waa in laga danbeeya inta uu haysto, any trouble makers must beaten and imprisoned.
  2. Somalia is one country, unity is paramount, and Puntland is leading the way, soon many local admins will draft their own constitution. As for the naysayers, this is a reality that you have no choice but to accept.
  3. ^Puntland delegates that will take part in these talks are representing Somalia as part of the TFG delegation. Puntland is not acting on its own but as part of a team. A federal state and the TFG is federal thus it can seek advice from the federal state and may ask to include its delegation political members of the federal state.
  4. Despite my reservation for the political opportunist Professor Galayr, KHAATUMO should have had at least a representative in these talks, however for them to make a big deal out of it was irrelevant.
  5. It depends on the what talk is about, if its about the political issue and the secession ideals of SL, then Khaatumo has a less of a relevance in these talks but if its about the peace of the region then they have a stake and should be invited - testimony to this was the war raging in Sool-joogda, Togdheer and parts of SOOL region.
  6. Carafaat, you keep repeating the same point that we discussed again and again. That sentences, does not suggest that Puntland is independent whatsoever, its plain English text, hadii aan sifiican loo fahmanayn isagoo Somali ah haloo raadiyo ragga. Its very simple, will not seceded contrary to that, Puntland has its eyes on Mogadishu and the rest of Somalia. It's encouraging all regions to catch up with her and implement the federal system and local constitution.
  7. Carafaat your point is well taken Awowe, you disagree on those points and see them as a problem, on the other hand I see things differently. However, these points do not immediately threaten the unity of Somalia nor are they issues of priority or big problems at this turmoil moment of Somalia only unless someone is looking for the bad side of the coin. Let's for sake of argument say that you have valid reasons to pick the points but remember it can be amended at a later stage, what mattes at this stage is to get over this hurdle and have something, a constitution that works for the people of Puntland.
  8. SL is not independent, its claims to be independent while on the other hand Puntland does not claim independence but an autonomous federal state that's part of the Somali republic. Balse adigu as a secessionist clan government supporter keep telling us your facts that Somaliland is independent, waa lagaa aqrisan doonaayee
  9. Relentless you seem to be going in circles, I said I have no problem with SL but except the issue of secession, if that article is amended then its good. Equally I don't have any problem with the PL one because it has not referred to secession whatsoever and so should any sane Somali person.
  10. Carafaat you are making a meal out of a non issue, post the points and make it clear that you disagree with that point but not the whole constitution, you seem to be all over the place. Plus you have been posting these past few days promoting this idea of Puntland seceding, how can it secede when its President Faroole will be innaugrated the President of Somali come August. Unlike you people think big Saaxib, whereas the secessionists daydream and perhaps my Mogadishu brother make a life of the chaos and oppose anything peace, constitution, law and order. Adeer, we are not on the same caliper
  11. Relentless, you are daydreaming bro, Puntland is the reason to Somali unity. Should Puntland secede do you think the rest of the south will stay together? Don't be naive Saxib as others suggested, clan is everything in Somalia, and if Puntland secedes it will lead and open the door to a whole other regions of Somalia that are in the south to secede and Mogadishu will not be the capital anymore, the whole country will disintegrate may god forbid that. Also Puntland has challenged and stopped the fake border claim and secession of SL. To add more, despite the suffering and the huge loss of life and wealth inflicted upon reer Puntland during the civil war in Mogadishu, they played a huge part in Somali politics without prejudices or grudges and returned to Mogadishu immediately after the civil broke and lul returned and even since more so than any other group or region in Somalia. All these suggest, Puntland has its eyes on Mogadishu but multitasking and working on your backyard is a clever idea.
  12. The Prime minister has said he is confident that this was the work of Alshabaab but added that he patiently waits for the results of the investigation.
  13. I don't know why anyone wouldn't support the progress and development of another of their Somali brethren. Waryaarahe xaasidnimada iska daaya oo support gareeya. This constitution is nothing but a reference point for the rule of law and good governance for reer Puntland. Why dislike the progress a brother state of Somali makes. You may have issues with one or two points within the constitution of Puntland but this smear campaign of hot air is not redeeming many individuals here who claim to have love for all Somalis. I admire and respect the constitution of SL but only have few reservations such the secession and territorial borders but apart from that everything else is excellent as it works for them to maintain peace, development and good governance.
  14. Gaagaab is a civilian, he might be against it or support it and may voice his opinion but that's not important, what matters is whether its passed or not.
  15. This is local constitution and nothing big, it concerns the matters of the local issues of Puntland. As for those alluding Puntland seceding must know that Puntland is the fabric and backbone of Somali nationalism, the ultimate protector of Somali unity. Puntland have always played and still is playing a leading role in Somalia affairs and politics, and at the same time are working hard to build their local structure and good governance systems and there is nothing wrong with that.
  16. ^Waar waa inaan sida carabti kuula hadlaa markaa. 17. Excellent start, this makes the speculations and the hope we had even closer to reality. A bit by bit we are getting there, all the signs and finally what remained waa isagii lashubtaa sidaa kuwait. Waar yaa raba in wakiil laga noqdo, kolay hadhowbaad soo shaqa doonanaysaanee, without sponsorship wax soconaayaa majiraan, whoever wants to be sponsored submit your application early and before the black gold sale kicks off, otherwise I will be inundated will applications markaa dee busy ayaan iska noqdayba, waa first come first serve
  18. ^Indeed, lets see and wait for the outcome, at least its good to see the ball rolling. Good news.
  19. ^Why are you angry? They are part of the TFG as one of federal state in the republic and must represent on all matters internal, neither the TFG nor SL can represent them when it comes the internal affairs of the country, the TFG represents all on foreign matters. You seem to be pissed off, xogaa qayil oo naso ninyahow, Bacaac-dan aad kuwaalatay ubadal, hees yaroo liilalaw lalaw lal laa liiiiiiilalow
  20. This is quite feasible and good news for all. Alshabaab have been weakened and were losing territory in the past few months quite rapidly. It's only possible that they might vacate most of the areas in the south including Baardheere, Jubba's and Kismayo as they can't hold on it any longer.
  21. ^Keep laughing.. while the other hand we await the outcome of this talk quite confidently.
  22. ^Actually there are two high profile Puntland ministers included in this 7 member team that will talk to Somaliland. Both Puntland ministers hail from the former British Somaliland areas of SOOL and SANAAG. Puntland played very well this one, the group of the 7 member team that will interrogate Somaliland is led by Puntland's Interior minister, his excellency General Ilkajir.
  23. ^That's excellent news bro, the President is serious and wants to bring back the trust of all Somalis should have in our capital and the old glory of the republic. Saaxib, I thought this issue was important not only because of the innocent that have illegally lost their houses, but the barrier it has been for all Somalis to have confidence in Mogadishu once again.
  24. Shariif Ahmed is all talk, I doubt he can walk the walk on this issue, its highly contentious matter and I don' the likes of Ahmed Diiriye will vacate other people's houses without a fight, an excuse or a way to prolong their illegally acquired settlements.
  25. ^He wanted to rule but did not rule, also yes I agree with you he was human and like I said made grave mistakes like the ones I mentioned above. Laakiin isagaa idin xoreeyay soo ma ahan? I think Aideed AUN deserves statue in Hargeisa more so than anywhere else.
