  1. ^^ Whatever the late Somali President Siyad Barre (alaha u naxaristo) was, he held his office and did his best to remain in power. I find it funny that you and your ilk continue to blame one single man for millions of acts committed by a bureacracy that grew during his administration and that included every single Somali clan and character! It wasn't a one-man show nor was it a one-clan show, as much as you'd love for us to believe that. Secondly, like Che said, I really don't care for this chick nor do you. Its a disgrace if the Puntland media politicized this but what isn't being politicized today? But this made-up story of Mako Heblaayo that has been furnished and imagined by a die-hard Somaliland fan named Farah Ali Jama - the same guy who wrote many other clannist articles, including: "The Rise of Dheg-Dheer: The Godmother of Puntland, Somalia" http://www.radiosomaliland.com/index.php?itemid=380 and "End Somalia Occupation of Parts of Eastern Somaliland" http://www.radiosomaliland.com/History.php?itemid=361 In the latter article, he argues that the Hurti clans of his imaginary "eastern" Somaliland border are "saboteurs and traitors and that they have openly rebelled against their people and country and that, even as we speak, they are transgressing our peace and stability in order to undermine the cause and existence of our country.." He singles out a Somali clan and openly calls for war! You trust this guy's crap? He calls Puntland's leadership and its people "Dheg-dheer and her barbaric subjects." This nigga is ridiculous and his type is heroes behind computer screens. And he calls for open warfare between Somaliland and Puntland: tell me, what kinda man rushes to war? Motor-mouth cowards who'll do a whole lotta talking but when its showtime, will offer little more than more talk! I'm not surprised to see you've joined his camp..

LOL I'm put Donald Rumsfeld to shame! The Minister of Stray Dogs thing was funny tho hehe And the Sujus: shouldn't they have their OWN government (hint Kenya)?
  3. It ain't Muslim v. Muslim. The Southern Sudanese who've fled to Darfur and made the region a crisis center are mostly believers in Christianity or local African beliefs. CLASS - You telling me the Northern Sudanese see eye-to-eye with their Southern brethren? Southern Sudanese are Blacks and the Northerners are Arabs. Call them Black to their face and they'll put you in your rightful place of Cabid! Where are the non-Black refugees of this war? Sudanese air force planes continually pound cities in the South because they're rebel strongholds. If this just and fair government of al-Bashir looks at this issue as a civil war, why do they arm and support one side (the Arab supremacist North)? You say I'm biased yet all I've done is tell you what should be an obvious fact. Every story out of Sudan is Black people being maimed, robbed, killed and their cities pillaged by Arab intruders. This ain't nothing new: "The hostility of southerners toward the northern Arab majority surfaced violently when southern army units mutinied in August 1955 to protest their transfer to garrisons under northern officers. The rebellious troops killed several hundred northerners, including government officials, army officers, and merchants. The government quickly suppressed the revolt and eventually executed seventy southerners for sedition. But this harsh reaction failed to pacify the south, as some of the mutineers escaped to remote areas and organized resistance to the Arab-dominated government of Sudan." SOURCE: Library of Congress, "Sudan: A Country Study" http://memory.loc.gov/frd/cs/sdtoc.html Click on subtitle: "The South and the Unity of Sudan" Ever since that day, the Southern Sudanese (mostly Blacks) have been fighting a Northern Arab-dominated government and the Arab supremacists in power have sworn to continue a racial war that has transcended the line of morality. Yet YOU continue to support these Cowards in Khartoum! Give me a break! LANDER - I don't think the act of classifying a "genocide" has anything to do with the number of dead people. Sudan, esp southern Sudan, has a lotta oil potential so its natural that it stays the center of geopolitical attention. And fits into the greater context of the extermination of all regimes allied to elements the West considers as terrorists!
  4. HORN - You've explained yourself in a way that can even make sense to a toddler. But its hard trying to hold a conversation with a person who looks at you as a "fascist!" This Kowneyn character is the same guy who calls all people with tribal affiliation to Puntland/Gedo as "f*a*qash." (ADMIN: pardon me here but Kowneyn used the actual term to refer to "D to the D"). First, the story never happened. Then, it happened but the Puntland media is wrong for alerting the world's attention to this tragedy. Thirdly, Reer Waqooyi girls are being raped in Boosaaso on a daily basis but the Puntland media has decided to "surpress" this news from coming out. GIVE ME A BREAK! Tuug la qabtay talo ma leh!
  5. ^^ First of all, thanks. Secondly, I think we're on the same page but reading in two differnt languages. Why can't I compare NATO to the Arab world? Do you have any idea how much political clout the Arab world carries if they came out as a united front? Perhaps militarily NATO might seem overwhelming, but I do think a united Arab world would make the blueprint for the most formidable opposition to NATO's plans for global hegemony. As far as Arab money for freedom fighters, I never contested that. But why turn a "blind eye?" Why can't they just come out and say: We support the PLO or the Chechen rebels or whatever? Are they afraid of what the West would think of them? Oh, the Arabs are supporting terrorists! But the West already thinks of them this way. So its time they came out the closet. And I know you look at the Darfur crisis strictly from the standpoint of the West (and Christian allies in Africa) attempting to destablize a Muslim country. Granted, however, the title of this thread implies that the Arab-led Khartoum regime supports the murder and displacement of thousands of Black people by Arab supremacist militias. Its an ugly episode and one that will bring more prying eyes into Sudanese affairs. I'm not preaching hatred, bro. If anyone is hateful, its the Arab militias who continue their genocidal campaign against the mostly Black Sudanese.
  6. Ethiopia has its own problems. When Meles Zenawi was an opposition leader in the '80s, he traveled on a Somali passport and often stayed in Mogadishu. Did the Ethiopian gov't claim that he was Somali-backed? Of course. So does Ethiopia back Abdullahi Yusuf (and other warlords)? Yes. Is that equal to saying Somali national affairs are ruled from Addis Ababa (as many websites like to imply)? No. Its a political game. You put your money where your best interests lie. Abdullahi Yusuf is many things but he ain't no puppet.
  7. CLASSIQUE - You gonna compare Somalia to the entire Arab world..? I jus stated a mere fact: When thousands of Bosnian Muslims were being slaughtered by Serb Christians, the West - led by Clinton's America - came in to put a halt to that. No need to compare/contrast notes coz you know Somalia was in a quagmire of its own during the mid-90s! If its Sudanese v. Sudanese, then tell me why the Arab-led regime in Khartoum overtly uses its air force to bombard Sudanese cities? I mean: Why take sides? Show me the Arabs who are fleeing to Sudan's borders? All I've seen so far is thousands of Black refugees running away from armed Arab supremacists supported by the al-Bashir regime! We can't solve problems if some of us decide to ignore the real issues. AND PLEASE, spare me the speech about the injustices of the West. Everyone knows what they do. Stick to the Darfur crisis: Arab v. the indigenous Black population!
  8. If this don't work, then Soomaali maryooley good knowing y'all: Fantashiruu-fil-ardi! Awalba gumaysigii baa iskukiin keenay..
  9. HADDAD - I trust what's between my legs than an Arab homie. Don't preach none of that they brothers crap. This is political. Don't take it personal. They killing and displacing thousands of innocent people simply because they're Black. Whether Fox or Al-Jazeera said it, the facts are that: Arabs killing Blacks. Do you have the ability to show us otherwise? If not, I suggest you find a better defense for your kin..
  10. Originally posted by macalimuu: Warlord president is a man on mission. He is going to launch a new reprisal undertaking. With the help of the Ethiopian army and his clan militias, he is determined to wreak havoc in every region of Somalia. While he may not accomplish to dominate and subjugate others, he will definitely create more turmoil and bloodshed. Unfortunately, many of his educated clan elites are collaborating and working for this contemptible warlord president and have discarded their commonsense and education for egotistical clan interests. Loyalties to the clan creed have impaired their political outlook. It seems they are once again repeating the same disastrous formula for governance and leadership. It seems that they can’t learn from the past and are all unwavering to concede failure. They just don’t know how to get rid of clan allegiance. Nation building is an alien concept to them and they are convinced that it’s their inherent nature to lead. That's interesting. First, you're a psychic who can predict what's coming for Somalia. And not only that, but you know precisely what the warlord president is thinking. ENLIGHTEN us on your methods please.. Secondly, saying that "many" of the warlord president's clansmen support him in his as-of-yet-unknown political agenda is inherently a sugarcoated way of saying F them! Quit beating around the bush and discuss the dixiri that's bothering you..
  11. Originally posted by Ameenah: Anyway, it isn’t just an issue of Arab –v- African or rather one Sudani tribe against another. The most sickening aspect of this war is that it involves Muslims who are committing the most inhumane and barbaric atrocities against their fellow countrymen and other Muslims. The poster is right it is ugly, very. Need I say more? Arab Sudanese (who live in northern Sudan) are openly arming and funding Arab supremacist militias (supported by the al-Bashir gov't) to carry out one of the most "barbaric and inhumane" campaigns of genocide in contemporary history. I guess its because I'ma "simpleton" that I believe all the news sources in the world, the AU, the UN, and other int'l organizations. I mean the thousands of refugees showing up at the borders of Sudan's neighbors are just vacationing. Remember, it was the West (esp the U.S.) who came to the aid of Bosnian Muslims when the Serb supremacists carried out their genocide program in the '90s. Name the Muslim governments that came to the aid of their fellow brethren in the Balkans? Don't read everything like a global conspiracy. Of course Western governments always carry a double-edged sword. But the genocide is real. No one has the capability to make such news up. Not even the High & Mighty Fox News! 12. LOL Gediid bro, according to your logic, whenever a Somali disses another Somali (for whatever reason), the one being dissed is doing something right? Think of it this way: if the most Hell-bent territory in Somalia declares independence today, it'll become the center of the most heated political discussion. That's only because, despite all our political differences as Somalis, the truest believers in Somali nationalism agree on one principle: that Somalia's unity is sacred! So when Somaliland becomes a center of discussion, you shouldn't be surprised. Your seeking to destroy all that true Somalis hold sacred! Peace.
  13. CHE - LOL I don't think Siyad Barre (alaha u naxariisto) ran from anyone. It was his time to go and he did. The rest are quite accurate. KOWNEYN - If reer Las Anod's master is Abdullahi Yusuf, then is reer Hargeisa's master the British crown? Jus wonderin..
  14. ^^ You think women put chemical weapons on their faces? LOL Funnystyle neggah.. Was so surprising about the U.S. using chemical weapons anyways? It ain't like they left a shred of dignity for the Iraqi people..
  15. "Jamac a 34 year old University Of Minnesota Business school graduate with almost 10 failed marriage proposals is definitely the most unfortunate eligible Somali bachleors living in Minnesota." 10 failed marriage proposals? What a loser..
  16. My reason: the FBI has more snitches in more places than the hairest Frenchwoman has hair in the oddest places!
  17. Fresh attacks in northern Darfur http://allafrica.com/stories/200412020011.html They keep signing peace deals with the southern Black Sudanese to stop Africa's longest civil war. Yet, the military dictatorship of al-Bashir never seems to fulfill the obligations of its treaties. Can the Sudanese government curb in the murderous Arab supremacists (and supporters in the government)?
  18. "Oh my God, Las Anod - it was the best chase of my life!" LOOOOOOOOOOOL That was classic! And Morgan's house - that's news to me.
  19. ^^ You act as if this recently-appointed federal government is a well-established political entity with a long history of justice and equality. TRUTH is the nobodys you mentioned above knew what they were signing up for when they first decided to join this government. Don't cry foul after the big fish decided to play a real man's game. Get more guns - maybe then they'll have a chance to eat with the hyenas!
  20. ^^ You the cyber police or what? I ain't the one preaching open hatred. Mr Faisal Waraabe is. And Kowneyn is a fan! Jus ask him..
  21. ^^ LOL Mad cow disease was taken! That's a classic.
  22. Women - 1. Maandeeq 2. Sahra Axmad 3. Zeinab Cige Men - 1. Xasan Dhuule 2. Max'd Saleban Tubeec
  23. ^^ Did you get mad? KOWNEYN - LOL Don't lissen to 'em. Say what's in your guts. Express your hatred for the people of Puntland/Gedo the way your idol, Mudane Faisal Waraabe (UCID leader), so openly did in his latest "opinion" piece. I'm beginning to think this runs in the family!
  24. LOL Somalis and their obsession with oral stories! BTW, Islan Maxamad Islan Muuse doesn't share his role as the leader of the Issimada with anyone. He's the undisputed leader of the Isimada. I dunno where y'all got that mis-information from.
  25. Cismaan Caato ..weed anyone? LOOOOOOOOL That boy is a pothead..? "defense of a nation where even the ants are armed wit an AK-47" LOOOOL..clownin'.. Xuseen Caydiid "Wasaarada Amniga" - oo yaa isku aaminaayo ina Caydiid..? Kii horaaba ka soo cararnay!
