If the West left Muslim countries alone, some Muslims wouldn't be forced to defend themselves and be labeled as "fundamentals" or "radicals" by Western media in the process. Its all relative, you see. The actions of "moderate Islam": read the political biographies of Iyad Allawi and Hamid Karzai since they came to power in Iraq and Afghanistan, respectively.
