  1. Blacks don't read they are our slaves? This has probably been written by a skin head or someone who has affiliations with the KKK. It is very biased. I don't see why people should get mad over it.
  2. Scrlet since you like to know everything, I also found out this for you the uni fees are between Ontario which is the highest and Quebec which is the lowest but it is more close to Ontario. I'm sure there are nomads who live there where are they hiding?
  3. I was going to start a topic like this about Kentucky, North Carolina. Alberta is a cool city, I believe it is one of the prairie provinces, oil city, lots of jobs, higher minimum wages then the rest of Canada, expensive living in terms of rent etc, lower unemployment rate then the rest of Canada (around 4.5%). The cadaan there are predominantly conservatives, the unemployment rates of the cali beesteen (natives) is over 30% or 40% they're disgruntled if I was maryooley like you Scarlet I'd stay away from them. It is good to move.

  5. *smile* Freedom: you can do whatever whenever, not too many pre-defined cultural boundaries The Care Free Attitude: I don't care! You get to yell and curse when you speak: Naayaaaaaaaaa! lagu sii qadye xage ka dhacdey waayahaan!
  6. ESL classes might be benificial for the older new comers however I don't see its benifits for elementary school kids. Sadly in my city most of the Somali kids live in ethnic enclaves with uneducated parents and go to inner city schools, where they are unfairly streamlined into ESL right from the get go and stay in it indefinetly. I know of a Somali kid who had to do ESL all the way from grade 1 to 12.
  7. Landergirl what a great topic! I'm sick of farahs stalking me trying to get with me. No way Jose back off damn it! I'm sick of pessimistic loserly people! I'm sick of some of the SOL members here, why can't they all be like you?

  9. Thanks for the reminder. Oh my god why I said such things maybe ana zaclana. I didn't think Jesus in bible is same as ibn maryam (as). jzk.
  10. I donno walaalo I just donno! waxaanan garenin intaas ka hadasha. I have never given a gift and until now my policy is same as big jesus himself, bless are they who expect nothing for the will never be disabbointed!!!
  11. I don't understand why Sheikh Nur has taken it upon himself to engage in a dialogue with the atheists and the agnostics considering the fact that he doesn't pay homage to western intellectual chauvinism and won't be employing key concepts like rationalism, skepticism, objectivity, logic etc. Like I said before if there are no common grounds people cannot engage in meaningful dialogues.

Xujada badanaa, no doubt this originates from your lack of talent. I don't see anything wrong with that answer, and if you are looking to confine the debate here to follow the methods of inquiry and reaching conclusions as dictated by modern western scientific thought to proof the existence of Allah then you are being delusional. Because this system was designed to zoom in on matter/material and not on the agent. When Nur presents the proofs from the Quran I think y'all should pay ear because it is the supreme truth.

  14. These are verses 41-47 from Surah El-Ankabut(The Spider). Anyone can feel free to correct my commentary. 41. The parable of those who take protectors other than Allah is that of the spider, who builds (to itself) a house; but truly the flimsiest of houses is the spider's house;- if they but knew. commentary: An aspect of taking a protector entails doing so by means of beliefs and intentions. This is Shirk. If one relies on others besides Allah in a way only Allah should be relied on; then this person builds their love, fear and hope i.e. the foundations with which they relate to their protector on shaky grounds similar to the webs spiders build for themselves. And there is any fyi; the flimsiest of houses is that of the spider. 42. Verily Allah doth know of (every thing) whatever that they call upon besides Him: and He is Exalted (in power), Wise. commentary: This is an extension of the previous verse discussing shirk but it covers the action component of it, i.e. calling on to others beside Allah for help. Allah knows it all. 43. And such are the Parables We set forth for mankind, but only those understand them who have knowledge. This is too deep. The quran is full of parables like the one in verse 41 and only those with knowledge understand it. This verse puts emphasis on the importance of having knowledge and seeking it, because the more we know the deeper we understand. 44. Allah created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): verily in that is a Sign for those who believe. 45. Recite what is sent of the Book by inspiration to thee, and establish regular Prayer: for Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds; and remembrance of Allah is the greatest (thing in life) without doubt. And Allah knows the (deeds) that ye do. Commentary: These verses inform us of the different methods the remembrance of Allah can take; we can remember him through acts of contemplating on his creation, or through direct spiritual acts that we are commanded to do like salah and quran recitation. Allah is aware of all the good that is done. 46. And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury): but say, "We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam)." Commentary: Purposeful dialogues can be undertaken with the people of the book (i.e. the jews and the christians) based on our common grounds. However with others beside them we should not use this method in fulfilling our dawah responsiblities. 47. And thus (it is) that We have sent down the Book to thee. So the People of the Book believe therein, as also do some of these (pagan Arabs): and none but Unbelievers reject our signs. commentary: If someone asks you the reason behind the revelation being sent down we can use this verse as an answer. Allah sent the book down so the people of the book i.e. the Jews and Christians and others beside them could believe in it. And anyone who rejects the miracle of Allah i.e. the quran is a 'kafir' a disbeliever.
  15. That is it sheikh Nur I'm definetly joining xertaada! JB, are you trying to give off the impression that you are saying something that is highly intellectual? because you are not! In how many different languages can you say 'elementary'? because that is my take on all your ramblings.
  16. You never give up do you? My wisdom was requested on this very thread. You're alone on this one so kindly get going.

  18. Some people are energetic when discussing clan-related topics. Somalia is sadly one of the few places in the world that still holds on to this barbaric notion (tribalism) that rest of the world has abandoned over a 1000 years ago. Siyaad Barre is dead and saying he is evil will not change anything. May the wounds heal and may the paranoia and bitterness disappear for forever. Ameen.
  19. Originally posted by Azmaya: "ma dilo karno mana caayi karno." Cute i say. Anyways Nur, whatever I have to say on this has already been said by the fake women your Didi referred to. I find your policy pretty pathetic and funny to discuss, I neither have the time nor the patience walaalo, as a muslim man “ a sheikh†it would only be just to speak out against the injustices your fellow Somali men commit with this practice but u choose to play the “unfulfilled†card. And I am all for it, but it works both ways I have a huge appetite too, can I get me four husbends to fulfill my needs? You lack objectivity and are well biased; I wouldn't talk to KKK member about race, why would I talk to you about polygamy? salaamz What the hell are you talking about? Whatever the fake women said does not count, they are not fake as a result of ingenuity it is because they are ****** and directionless. Next! Sheikh Nur do continue.
  20. Scarface, I see you don't know US girls very well, they won't even recognize it...They'll be like don't tell me lemme guess Australian? And you'd be like no...New Zealand? no...it is my posh english accent...and they'll say same thing it's all the tongue of the living dead. If you come to US I'll drive you to New York, the city of the gangiisters so you can work on enhancing your image and when you go back to England you can be successful with girls like Ibby. And bring all your gangiister cards will ya?
  21. I think we should leave the dead alone their reckoning is with Allah. Siyad Barre admittedly does not have an unblemished record, but he shoved the foreign aid from the soviet union in their face and cut all diplomatic ties with them, kicked the cubans out of Somalia and was unrelenting in his position regarding the OG. Somalia had lost NFD to Kenya before him and he was too concerned with Somali unity to lose the OG so he went to war with Ethiopia to liberate the Somali people there. I think this aspect of his life is heroic. Don't y'all think so? As for what came later he was just like any other dictator. He shouldn't be a national hero but he did good things too.
  22. I mean seriously who cares if you are Viking or not, I don't! Like someone before me said Farah's are interchangeable. I know some of God's names are allowed to be used with the definite article "al" in front of them but ar-rasheed is not one of them. You are just being defensive. Bring your proofs.
  23. Do you think revealing information of this nature might ruin your gangster image?. *holds the mic to scareface's face.* Btw mine is very Michigan in other words very Northern U.S. Have you ever been to Michigan before?
