Very sad indeed. This is colaad aan macno lahayn that has remained for over 80 years. I agree that clan Federalism will fail and that is why I do not support it. Ilaah maslaxad dhexdooda ha dhigo. -

I was asking about the coincidence of your newly found excitement and optimism iyo la kowsiga the announcement of the premier Shirdoon. You used to come across as cynical in the affairs of Somali politics but today you are changed. By the way, I have a friend whose last name is Shirdoon and of the same jiffo but no clue if any relations. I'm glad Gabbaloow we are all in agreement today. Now that Shariif, Sakiin and Gaas are gone, I consider myself a winner and Somalia has got a bright future ahead. Congrats to PM Shirdoon and may the new leadership bring peace and stability. Abwaan : Sxb I am praying Somalis of all walks of life will give peace a chance and help make this new admin a success. You can just imagine the monumental work of fixing the south and Kenya's involvement into Jubooyinka. Jacpher, Insha Allah peace will come. I don't remember seeing Somalis agreeing to support a government together like this for the last 22 years.

Apophis, you have to remember that UK has an alternative public transport, specially in many areas it runs 24 hours.

Whatever he beleives in, I think he did well in this interview. He sounds like someone who knows what he is talking about. He might suprise many including me, who thought that our new PM lacks experience on running an office like this.

lol@Tarzan has a gun now? Isagoon qori haysan baaba camal xumadiisa lala yaabay ee hadda maxaa u malaynee? He should be disarmed cause his guards can try and help him with protection. lol@Tarzan he said "I think it is Belgian, but I don't know the exact model". By the way a bottle of water is missing.

lol@Alpha....thanks....waan kula kaftamayey ee it is a privilage to have such a title and respect runtii....Alpha, I am glad you met the diplomat that you are talking about who shared with you some of his experiences, I would suggest you to do some form of writing on his experience if you can. I did have an opportunity to do a research on one Somali Embassy and I was amazed of the type of work some of our former diplomats used to do. I say some because I looked at a period of 30 years and of course the work of different ambassadors was not the same and I am sure the example is the same everywhere. There is this particular Ambassador whom I was told now lives in Canada and I wish that I met that man just to say thank you for the great work he did. I saw the record and analyzed some of it. A lot of younger generation have only seen or heard the destruction then they think Somalia was always like that but the story is completely different from that. Somalia needs a lot specially from the young and educated to help rebuild the country. It would be good to organize on a community level here in the diaspora and send some by taking turns. Even if 25% of us dedicate a month each we will be in a better place within few years Insha Allaah.

It started with The armed rebels against Siad Barre's government. Those who were close to them became mujaahidiin., then Maxkamadihii, Now Al-Shabaabna sidaas inay dhacdo la yaabi maayo. I already heard that some of their hitmen are nicknamed General so and so and they are back to the community and even work with the government without a proper rehabilitation. So you don't need that much rehab, since yours was on a keyboard-cyber-forum jihad. -
