  1. I don’t agree with this policy but for Gordon Brown this was a great victory, yes he might have bought his way to victory but lately everything the man touches was deemed a failure. So who knows this might be turn around for Gordon Brown.
  2. Italy didnt play bad either, I want france to be knocked out after what I saw today. The Dutch look spicy but I have feeling they will either be beaten or draw with Romania
  3. Africaown I know exactly what you mean saxiib some dreadful crimes were committed against the people of the South and other parts of the land. However today is a day of healing and the formation of a strong bond amongst brothers, these politicians have made neighbours and friends hate each other. We need an era of stability and development. When this day is finished and we have a independent judicial system representing a truly Sovereign nations Inshallah the accountability shall take place. So lets be patient
  4. I must commend the hard work and sincerity of Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah, ever since first saw him a couple of months ago I felt that this man was different from most UN or International body representatives.
  5. Fantastic news I am just listening to BBC Somalia and 120 days before they are out. A glimmer of hope
  6. Croatia is out of my list of favourites, lets see how the Germans do. Ps: I have seen Mario Gomez of Germany on youtube the guy looks solid.
  7. Nice description of the politics in this forum. I like Assembly 3 it is the one that keeps the ratings in this section up
  8. Adeer first of all you are the moderator do not be offensive. Second of all before you go on an emotional rant this is the 21st Century If I need to read about someone biography I can Wiki his name . however this time it just so happens I know who Mr Salaad Xassan is. Amnesty International report (through my favourite site wikipedia). Service in the Barré government Abdiqasen held several sensitive positions in the Barré government, most notably as his last Interior Minister, responsible for all internal security agencies such as the National Security Service (NSS), the Investigative Department of the Somali Revolutionary Socialist Party, and the police), and Deputy Prime Minister at same time. During his tenure, he presided over several controversial actions, including the severe crackdowns and aerial bombings in Hargeysa and Berbera, during which large numbers of civilians disappeared and are known to have disappeared (and believed to have been tortured and killed.)[2] After Barré's ouster in 1991 he fled to Cairo. Read the above quote carefully adeer before you say the man only played a positive role in Somali Affairs I will take back the warlord comment for I have not seen any evidence of this. However what did the folks in Xamar think of his collaboration or as you put it bringing Qanyare and co into the fold of his government. However you say “He never behaved a day what your typical calooshiis u shaqeysto” is a naked lie. Tell me where all the money that the Arab league donated to him disappeared to? Could it be fair to say that while the poor folks of Somalia suffered the man built himself mansions which are paraded every other day on Universal TV. Again A.Qasiim is a lot better in Yey when comes to decency, for one I know that the man was very religious and even used to lead the jamaaca, however to paint a rosy picture is a grave injustice to all those who have suffered his actions least of all the poor people of NorthWest. PS: I propose Xiin to be made the moderator or co-moderator of the politics section
  9. Adeer MMA if I replaced the word president that would mean I would have to call yey a president too, otherwise I will fall in Duke Category praising only those in my bandwagon and condemn those who are against my views. Let us not forget A Qaasin was a very corrupt leader in his past. His crimes might not be as bad as treachery which the current stooge is stained by, but no way is Abdi Qaasin a saint in Somali affairs. MMA you are even more naïve than an adamant ICU supporter like me if you believe A Qaasin is not associated with warlords and didn’t explicitly condone the isbaaro days in Xamar
  10. Marc I am surprised you are not on it, you would have been a hit
  11. Emperor A Qasiim might be a criminal but the hypocrisy here is the messenger praises one warlord yet condemns another.
  12. What a disgrace, Somalis are hogging reality tv as of late
  13. A good move by the ICU, Ethios have no reason to be there. Once again the ball is on the UN field to stop further Interruption by unwelcome parties. However the talks will continue. Saxiibka Duke making a mountain out of nothing again.
  14. Loool, I like this guy, Marc mate sorry I have jumped ship from your fan club
  15. Good Stuff, Baashi saxiib I might join you inshallah But I will still be a bit conservative about the current talks
  16. This tournament will be about emergence and resurgence Benzema will mark his name and Mr Va va voom will come back to his best.
  17. Well done Boris, I too was stuck at Bayswater with what looked like the German Beer festival. But I opted for other means of transport. Ibti in time it will change the way smoking habits are changing
  18. I have my money on France trust if they manage to get through the group stages which they always struggle with they are going all the way. I would love for Spain to do well but they seem to struggle and never live upto expectations. But I do admit this year will be a tough call the young Dutch boys are looking good aswell
  19. Emperor old friend again we agree to disagree (you state the TFG have paramount power I state the US and Ethiopians have equal if not a bigger say) Abu_Geel Emperor is by far the best TFG defender, but even he should recognise you cannot defend the indefensible. Lazy I don’t know who co is but Toure acknowledges that both parties in this war are guilty to a certain extent. However Toure supports the lesser of the evils and the party he beliefs serves his countries interest the best. ICU. As for your second statement Toure those not indulge in trivial tit for tat so he will ignore it.
  20. Emperor despite your wonderful attempt to prop up Yey as the master-minder of Somali affairs over the last couple years and despite your argument that Ethiopia and US are mere tools to Yey ultimate you fail to understand that people in this forum are not clueless and can see a sinister plan afar away. In a letter declassified/ leaked stated that the Somali invasion was pre-planned and discussed as early as the summer of 2006. The US and Ethiopans discussed how they could topple the ICU by having substantial number of Ethiopian forces backed by US funds in Somalia. Why was this discussed the and not before. You seem to disregard the question I asked but the answere to that question should indicate to you whether Ethiopia as you claim is a mere tool for Yey disposale or the more realistic posibility a country that looks out for its own interest. Zenawi being a next door neighbour and a longstanding ally, Odaga had to go to fly to Addis like you take a London Bus on a daily basis, his aim was to get some organised soldiers that would take the bullets for his TFG, Zenawi was still reluctant but Odaga this time proved to be more convincing that he talked to many countries and would bring troops very soon - in months time, and also he wouldn't have to warry about staying there for long just help defeat the oppostion groups, they will dissolve and the TFG can take care of the rest. Zenawi fell for those lines but he just only reluctantly agreed to intervene if attacked, the President saw this as an opportunity to grap and to get a nation soldeirs fighting alogside his team... Come on Emperor you cant be serious saxiib, please do not tell me you believe that Yeys superior persuasion skills made the president of a Sovereign nation with its own goals, ambitions, threat, and strategies to attack a neighbouring country and not benefit anything from it. If you believe this then you follow no logic here. By stating this you disregard the US policy towards “International terrorism” and Ethiopia Imperialistic ambitions that a divided Somalia is better for them than strong unified Somalia. Irrespective of how much you venerate a man that is ultimately the biggest trator in Somalia recent history evidence on the ground show that he and his government consented to a pre-planned attack on his own people and that infat Gabre is running the show as a representative for meles zenawi who through proxy is fulfilling U.S geopolitical interest. I know you don’t want to believe the truth adeer but for you to insinuate that Yey is the architect in current East African affairs is beyond the imagination of the even the most adamant TFG yeysters
  21. Emperor I ask again Why didn’t they come between 2004-2005 when they would have been much more popular, yey called for their deployment and the warlords were very hostile to the TFG. Why only when they deemed their national interest was in threat did they come (and don’t tell me they are here to fulfil yeys vision for we know meles has stated we are here to safeguard our nation). Just answer me this question
  22. Emperor saxiib they say a picture is a thousand words and a video is a thousand pictures, the fact that Aidan had to get permission from Gabre in order to talk to TFG members is an embarrassment beyond belief. I like many others were expecting to see Yey, Darwiish and co to be committing war crimes, but Gabre running the show is no longer a myth we have it in video. Some friends of mine who are adamant TFG supporters withdrew their support after last night embarrassment. The saw the men they venerated queuing up like 17th century slaves waiting for the master to give orders. They might not support the ICU but they rather be passive observers than to support these stooges. Saxiib what good has this Ethiopian forces that you cling on to brought to the TFG. They didn’t listen to Yeys call to deploy their troops between 2004-2005 when their deployment would have been more popular. The case of traitors “hated by their people and mocked by the enemy”
