  2. 18 Gold medals thats not bad at all Finally Gordon Brown sees light at the end of the tunnel
  3. Lool if you like repeating things I will repeat my answer “Nothing as long as he is not the leader of nation of which its population is 99.9% Muslims. You are right Muslim Somalis are to blame for our tragic circumstances but this has nothing to do with clan vs clan, or a religious war as you put it, but one of law and morality. My friend faith and leadership walk hand in hand one cannot expect an individual to rule over an entire people who practice a faith and code of ethics different to him (unless the people are under subjugation). How can a Christian rule and govern over a Majority Muslim Somalia when they have committed the single greatest crime of associating partners with their lord.
  4. What is wrong with being a Christian , is it a crime to be Christian and a Somalia at the same time? Nothing unless you are the leader of nations whose populations is 99.9% Muslims, want the state religion practiced by its leader to be Islam. I doubt there is any truth to this story although he would collaborate with a Christian to loot and kill Muslims for his wretched goal
  5. Amazing stuff he could have done it at 9.64-9.65. did you see how he was warming up this,
  6. It is really simple Xiin people have forgotten the single most important weapon at their disposal the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw). Why else would someone leave their household without smelling good and why else would someone get offended by good nasiixah. I was listening to one of Sheikh Awlakis lectures last year when he made a very important statement, he said leaders are a reflection of the people, if the people are good then the leaders will be good and if they are bad the leaders will be bad. He went on further to say that we could not expect Cumar ibn Cabdul Aziiz to rule us let alone the Kulafah wa Rashidun, in the same way we could not envisage the first pious generations of the Ummah ruled by the likes of Husni Mubarak. A couple of years ago I had the opportunity to work in a company where a lot of Somalis worked. For me it was a great anthropological experience. Although I met many good brothers and sisters with regards to Islamic etiquettes I was saddened to see the majority were black sheep. One minute they were arguing, cursing (old men in the foulest way) and throwing rubbish on the floor while at the same time complaining how bad Abdullahi Yusuf, Musse Suudi and Qanyare are. We have example of how nations and continents reverted to Islam because of the etiquettes of Muslim merchants and in this organisation other workers frowned in disgust at the barbarism taking place. However I must state that the brothers and sisters who listen to Sh Cumar Faruuq, Sh Mustafah and Sh Maxamed Rashaad were top notch in their manner and actions. In short stay with that which makes you great (the Sunnah of the Messenger saw)
  7. This time around it is a tie, Yey is not getting rid of Nur Cadde easily besides it’s the 11th round and very little time left before the game is over. After this term Yey career in federal politics is finished while I think Nur Cadde has a more promising career in Somali Politics
  8. I am looking forward to the odd African swimmer. Asafa powell looks solid
  9. Let us stick to what he said and not go judging people. He condemned the killing of innocent women something we all agree with. Whether he went to Addis or the Hospital in West London should not be our concern.
  10. Ngonge leave Ibti alone saxiib Marx is smart and tech savvy chap he did not approach the girl because he can just poke her on facebook
  11. A very interesting and informative article we might not be ready for a full implementation but at grass root level it can be as it is already (family law). This Inshallah would then facilitate the incremental implementation in the correct manner.
  12. Good news Yey and Abdi Qaybdeed should follow
  13. Paragon Waaba la yaabay naagaha fara tag badana
  14. Ibti now that’s a good reason to avoid M&S I hope you don’t shop at Primark as dispatches proved they exploit their workers to. Norf I miss the halaal big macs of dubai I might just fly over for one big mac meal for breakfast a whopper meal for lunch and zinger tower meal for dinner
  15. Marx will be a fine International lawyer one day soon Inshallah don’t forget Yey from your list. Marx the Somali Simon Wiesenthal
  16. Ibti your argument is that these companies directly fund the Zionist state of Israel who are oppressing Muslims in Palestine. Now my dear as you know as muslim we have precedent in everything we do, the Jewish Merchants in Arabia funded the cause to put down Islam did that stop the Muslims from purchasing and trading with them of course the Seerah will tell you no. What has this got to do with products being sold in Israel, you stated that we should stop purchasing all goods and services that fund the Zionist state and I said this might backfire because non believers might will do the same and boycott Muslim produced goods around the world (muslim states and charities are funded by Muslims merchants)and if they get crippled then we have lost our economic muscle. For me that is a compelling argument
  17. Boycotting McDonald or any product is not going to solve the problem after all our Messenger traded with the Jews in Medina and they were the same people that broke the treaty to secure Medina from any outside assault. Also someone posed a similar question to Br Khalid Yasin in one of the lectures I watched and he stated that such acts might backfire as Muslim products might be boycotted.
  18. Sorry for the late reply gets I was enjoying yet another fine international fadhi kudirir in the famous speakers corner (Paragon your man Harun is back and he has not lost his articulate skills). Paragon recent reports from a delegation that went from London to Asmara have stated that Sheikh Aweys although sceptical about the Djibouti agreement is coming on board, they are trying in their best ability to convince him. The two gentlemen who posted directly after me do not let your hate for this TFG cloud your judgement. The next step after this peace agreement is to replace the personnel within this TFG. PA that’s a good question and I cannot give you an answer, clearly the current environment indicates that they will not adhere to the agreement, however when all other parties and the Somali people agree with this agreement I am certain the young men will have no choice but to follow the peoples wishes. But remember this is war environment and the Ethiopians are fighting very aggressively so they have no choice but to fight back.
  19. Since Sheikh Dahir Aweys already stated that he would support the outcome of this meeting and the outcome of the Sanaa meeting Inshallah things are looking good
  20. Somali opposition endorses truce with govt Somalia's opposition coalition on Saturday endorsed a truce with the government as part of efforts to end the Horn of Africa nation's 17 years of bloodshed, a spokesperson said. Suleiman Olad Roble, spokesperson for the Eritrea-based Alliance for the Re-liberation of Somalia (ARS), said that a 106-strong majority of the 191 ARS central committee members "fully endorses the agreement". "It is a great victory for the leadership of the alliance and for those who signed the agreement," he added. "The alliance is ready to fully implement its part of the deal and call on the other parties to do so." The chief of the ARS, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and Somali Prime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein signed agreements at United Nations-sponsored talks in Djibouti on June 9 that included a three-month truce. Ahmed said earlier on Saturday that the alliance wanted the withdrawal of Ethiopian forces in the country and a deployment of UN forces. Ethiopian forces came to the rescue of an embattled Somali government in late 2006 to oust an Islamist movement that controlled much of southern and central Somalia. Hard-line Islamists who had rejected the peace deal -- led by Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys, an influential cleric designated as a terrorist by Washington -- had yet to comment on Saturday's endorsement, which was part of talks that run until Thursday in Djibouti. Earlier this month, the rival Islamist leaders met in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, in a bid to unify opposition ranks and broaden support for the latest peace efforts.
  21. Iman Awlaki is the est narrator of stories I have ever seen I can listen for hours. alhamdulIllah on his release
  22. Nur Cade is going nowhere unless he personally disassociates himself from this government, after all this a man who the international community brought forward to try and salvage the Puppet bandwagon. A lot of tough talk from Mr Duke lately abti peace is the TFG only solution for 2 years they have been unable to put down the resistance, Ethiopians want to pull out and do not support your uncle wholeheartedly anymore. I anything an all out war will strengthen the good resistance and they will get more tangible support both from the Diaspora and the folks within. I suggest you find new hero as the current one is stuck between a rock ad a hard place His retirement gift will e a hearing in front of national or international criminal courts and believe the evidence against him is in abundance.
