Can anyone translate this video for me?

Since Somaliland is technically still part of Somalia, I think those people had every right to celebrate whatever it's they want. You don't just detain people because u disagree with them. Freedom of speech in my opinion.

Mo Farah completely destroyed in Doha, dude under decline

The older you get, the more everything becomes harder for you. I get that, but isn't necessarily why he lost that marathon, it could be due to many factors. Do you think Mo Farah would retire anytime soon? -

Ummm, I believe that has already been done somewhere else in Somalia. -
Mustafe, sounds like a good idea. There are already Somali Student Association groups that you can look into and get an idea how their system works. There is one in almost all the major cities where Somalis attend schools.

LooL look at it this way, we already had a female Foreign Minister and other female Wasiiro. Sure, it's very unlikely she'd win, but it's the gesture that counts. I think I'd probably see a female Somali PM in the next 10yrs. It's not a question of IF, but when. Somali women already make up 49-50% of the population, so it's going to happen.

I don't think age has anything to do with it, just that he isn't used to the climate. -
DoctorKenney, that's not entirely true. Kenya has done a lot for Somalis, and it's still the only country in the horn that let's Somalis start and own businesses. I would say 65% of all Somalis who fled the war transited thru Kenya. And there are still hundreds of thousands Somalis living there. Dadka laguma jizaaro.

Losing one marathon isn't being 'under decline'. -

What what were they fighting about? -
Camel Milk = Caano Geel. Somalis love anything to do with camel and it's milk.

Y'know, I generally have a positive view of Kenyans and Kenya since I lived there after the war and before coming to the US. But you lost me when u said we are all Al.Shabaab sympathizers. SMH.

Return of the quirky Somali diasporans - By Hamza Mohamed

LooL this made me laugh, especially about those from Scandinavia. But this article is more about stereotyping people than its true. So it's good for laughs. -
I am glad they are exposing corruption and letting the public know. Kudos to them.

Abortion and family planning are illegal under Islam, and I don't see Somalis ever doing anything to go against the teachings of Islam. I agree with you that we need to stop having babies that we can't take care of, but u can't tell Somalis that.

Repatriate them back to Jubbaland or Gedo, since majority of those on the camp are from those two places.

@ElPunto said: ^There is no personal responsibility here involved. Walter Scott was stopped - there was police scuffle and attempt to taser. Then he got shot in the back while running away. It isn't the smartest thing to run away from police but then not everyone is smart all the time. The onus to act responsibly and intelligently is on the police officer whose job it is to ensure public safety. Not to murder people and then plant evidence. I don't fault average citizens if they get nervous/worried when confronted by law enforcement. I get like that when crossing the US/Canada border or landing at airports. I can't imagine how I would react if a police officer pulled a gun or taser on me. When i say personal responsibility, i mean if u get caught breaking the law, u deal with it. Not try to run away from it or get out of it. From what i understand, Mr. Scott was stopped for driving on a suspended license and was going to be placed under arrest. Mr. Scott not wanting to goto Jail that day decided to make a run for it. A little scuffle happened and the officer deployed his tazer, which didn't work. Mr. Scott broke away from the officer and ran.....in which the cop shot him. Now, where this whole thing went sour is, the cop was on the RIGHT up until he shot a fleeing suspect on the back x8. And Mr. Scott knowing he was driving on suspended license should've manned up and went quietly and spend his 2 day's in jail. I am still blaming this on the COP 100%. You dont shoot someone on the back.
