Peel Regional Police have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a man wanted in a deadly gas-and-dash incident in Mississauga last year, saying he may be hiding out in Edmonton. Abdullahi Mohamoud, 22, failed to attend a recently scheduled Ontario court date related to the May 19, 2011 incident in which a Brampton gas station attendant was struck and killed. Police allege a man driving a gold-coloured car was seen covering up his license plate, then pumping gas at the station before attempting to flee without paying. A 62-year-old employee attempted to confront the driver, but was struck and then dragged by the vehicle. Abdullahi Mohamoud, 22.

A second man arrested in connection with the armed robbery at the Conoco Motel in Grand Island now faces eight felony charges. 20-year-old Feysal Sharif-Yusuf, of Grand Island, was arrested Tuesday and charged with robbery, burglary, first degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and possession of a defaced firearm.   13. Update: Milton Keynes Murder trial ends in Life sentences for both suspects. Mohammed Abdi Farah, 19, and Amin Ahmed Ismail, 18, (pictured) were shot on Thursday 26 May 2011 in a row over 'drug turf'. Mohammed died at the scene. Amin died later at Milton Keynes Hospital. Fuad Awale, 25, of Cranesbill Place, Conniburrow, Milton Keynes, and Sharmake Abdulkadir, 22, of The Fleet, Springfield, Milton Keynes (pictured below) were sentenced at Luton Crown Court on Friday 11 January 2013, having been convicted of two counts of murder. Awale was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 38 years. Abdulkadir was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 32 years. A third defendant, Yahya Harun, 22, of Fishermead Boulevard, Milton Keynes was found not guilty on all counts. Prosecutors said the accused were part of a gang of five, two of whom were not in court. Abdulkadir was also convicted by the jury of possessing a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence. The Edmonton Police Service is asking for the support of the city’s Somali community to locate Hassan Isse Ismail, who is wanted on Canada-wide warrants for second-degree murder. Police believe the 30-year-old man is responsible for the murder of 24-year-old Aden Ahmed, who was stabbed to death Nov. 19, 2012, at a downtown residence near 113 Avenue and 94 Street. Back when i use to live in Fairfax, they use to have people handing out free Washington Times newspapers in front of the metro stations. Most people would just put it the trash can (Qashin) as soon as they get to their exit.
