MMA, sxb i heard about the Dixon/Toronto raid, but i couldn't find anything online about MUG shots or any other info.

That's really funny, MMA. But you have to remember anyone could create a petition. LoL i remember when Somalinet was down for few weeks, they created a petition over there to have the WHITE HOUSE look into it. Most of the petitions created there would never see the light of day. But it's good for little chuckle though.

All that money for just a 4yr college degree? Imagine when he gets a Masters or even a phD? If I had that kinda money just laying around, would've definitely not wasted time in going to school.

So what happens to all that LACAG now? If the people could prove they've gotten it legitimately, would they be able to get it back? I bet they probably seized more than they are reporting after they have taken their cut. TUUGO. -
Why are Somalis (espeicaly on this forum) separatist?

Blackflash;962869 wrote: We're not separatists. We're federalists. Somalia can only go forward as a decentralized nation at this stage and it provides the greatest security from any future instability in the federal government. It's just the HAG trying to consolidate their spheres of corruption after realizing that inheriting Mogadishu isn't proving to be as lucrative as they once thought. There's really no reason for Mogadishu to be the center of Somalia anymore, it has no valuable natural harbor as in the case of Kismayo and offers little in infrastructure that can't be achieved in a few years by any of the other major cities in Somalia. HAG? Really? -

Somalia is caught up in vicious circle between different groups (Interests, Qabyaalado, Siyaasado, Maamulo) who are all pulling for different directions and determined to make sure they get their way or nothing else get's done. It's a race to the bottom with no winners. It's even gotten worse than I have ever seen it here on SoL before. You now have people posting pictures of Xamar to score political points or to put others down. Talk about burning your bridges. What happens when Sheikh Hassan's term ends and someone else from another background or region get's elected? Do these people who hate Xamar think all is forgotten or forgiven? SMH It's vicious circle with no end in sight. -

None of those animals is indigenous to the country (well except for the Libaax). Geel, Ari, Lo would've been more appropriate i think. My 0.02 Shillings.

Ismaïl Omar Guelleh (Somali: Ismaaciil Cumar Geelle. Arabic: اسماعيل عُمر جليه) (born 27 November 1947)[1] is the President of Djibouti. Guelleh was anointed as president in 1999 as the handpicked successor to his uncle, Hassan Gouled Aptidon, who had ruled Djibouti since independence 22 years earlier. Gammeh was recently sworn in for a third term as president after he won 80 percent of the vote in a presidential election in April that was largely boycotted by the opposition amid complaints over widespread irregularities. He is often referred to in the region by his initials 'IOG'. Guelleh has been referred to as a dictator, and his rule has been criticized for by some human rights groups.[2]

If you got money, dont put it all in one place. Dont make it easier for someone to find it all at once. Bank accounts/Safe deposit boxes (put 'em on someone else's name) bury them in your backyard, give it to someone you really really trust, etc. Just don't let 'em find it all at once. And for those people who travel on airports with a lot of cash to their countries, why not just send the money in advance to wherever you are going or leave it behind with someone and have 'em send it to you when you reach your destination? That's a lot easier than explaining to suspicious customs about how you got your money. SMH.
