  1. Peace, stop being racist. Racism is wrong regardless of who uses them.

  3. Yar aan sxbo nahay ayaa gabar Latino oo ilmo udhashay, diinta keliya ma ogiyee - sidooda Kala waa dad iska fiican hadii eeyan ku dileen AMA kudhaceen.
  4. Disorderly conduct? The guy was just trying to get into his house, what a petty charge.
  5. I hear Linux is nice and much safer than windows, but is't true about it being very hard to use for those with limited computer skills?

For the simple fact that MN has always been predominately Somalis, and they are moving into traditionally Somali neighborhoods. Somalis are in competion for Jobs, they're even running low level Somali drug smuggers/dealers out of business. .
  8. That picture on the aricle is that of the 16yr old who is been charged on the shooting. Gaangistirnamada hakaa saarto.

  10. Originally posted by Torres: ^Have you been to the UK? You will be on 300+ cameras just going to work (so they say). yea i hear about the whole Big Brother thing that is going on there. Most cameras here are on private property (malls, shops, etc) and are owned by private companies. So i can understand if they choose to have cameras in their places....but to have the gov't install 'em and watching is creepy as hell. Even though, they wouldn't catch me doing anything wrong.
  11. Originally posted by Valenteenah: ^ I agree, cameras are not conducive to a comfortable working environment and it indicates major mistrust on the part of managers. LoL @ Torres. Y'know it would've been reasonable for this mistrust on their part if we worked with MONEY or anything of value, but knowing that we dont...i just don't see any reason why they would install 'em. It's just a waste of money that they could use it for other things.
  12. No seriously, this has everyone at the work place concerned for their privacy. Can you imagine being under surveillance all the time while you work? Rumor has it will have audio too. Its depressing.
  13. I always use to hear that term, but never realized how true its until today. Ha, we were just informed by management at the place i work at that they would be installing real time surveillance cameras in work areas. Worse, these cameras record to hard drive and supervisors could go back and view videos anytime they want. Supposedly its there to "help" us do our job, but i say its spying on us. But o'well, what do you people think about Cameras that seem to be everywhere nowadays.
  14. Waxaas iyo wax ka daran ayaan indhaheyga ku arkay.
  15. Women: Is this place save? Clerk: Its alot saver than wherever you been Racist!!!
  16. Gee, I couldn't really tell you. I have seen that new Transformer 2 movie though. Loved it.
  17. You can watch most new movies online nowadays. Why pay $10 for something you might or might not like it.
  18. Don't buy any books here, I just loan them from my local library. They may not carry new releases, but they have tons of others. And besides, old books are better reads.
  19. So you seen that new movie yet, heard it was nice from what everyone was saying.
  20. Very nice documentary. It reminds me of my situation, in when i came to the States i was settled in Syracuse, NY (Cold as hell, and not too far from the Canadian border). There were little job opportunities, and very high crime rate. We finally moved after a yr, and settled in MN. I always wondered how they decide to settle new Somali arrivals in different states, from MN to California and Washington State to Deep South like Nashville, TN.
  21. Yep thats her, ee iska daaya. She changed lil bit, but you can tell its her from her lip/noise features.
  22. Waa buuxeen, intana waa buuxaan. Hadii aadan si fiican u eegeen, arki meysid. Mar aan Virginia tagey ayaan habeen walba waxaan arki jiray gabdho yar yar oo meesha Buska taagan. Aniga waxaan u maleen jiray inay baska sugayan....laaakinse markii danbe ayaan fahmay waxey Kesha ku sugayeen.
