  2. The sad thing is, this sort of shenanigan does take place in our community. Is it me or fornication had become the thing to do these days—perhaps I am still in the dark ages and enlightenment is what I need. I have yet to see an out all rage about this despicable picture our lady had painted. More to the point why would one want to know about this ghastly quandary? If the predicament is real one then surely one can seek advice in more appropriate channels—not assuming that caramel is the victim of this!. If this is hypothetical problem then the solution is OFCOURSE not to indulge such things in the first place. And don't tell me I have lost the plot!!!!!!> Bee: I think what she meant was that when the lady is pregnant then Nikah can not be performed—Somalis do this sort of Nikkah, but according to the Sharia it is null and void. 3. Exquisite et all, It seems plethora of people are agreeing with each other on the matter that in order for you to speak to the person you have to be attracted to --- surely this is rather ubsurd. Are we suggeting those who are not estheticly pleasing to look at should not be spoken to? Come on, in my daily monotonous life I meet people some whom are drop dead gorgous others just plain looking; both of these groups I speak to them in same fashion. The problem with the Somali community in the west is that everyone they meet (according to the above statement that is) is a potential courtie. The whole social entraction is reduced to this slim thing-- there is not platonic companionship. Now let me come back to the point. When it comes to courting I think some sort of physical atraction has to be there-- but as I have indicated already one may perhaps casually befriends someone initially having no reason for him/her to "go out" but with the wit and the charm of the other person becomes enchanted and woed alus making the whole distiction thing redundant. 6. Anger at Kilroy 'anti-Arab rant' Mr Kilroy-Silk presents a daytime television show Muslim leaders have accused Robert Kilroy-Silk of "anti-Arab and anti-Muslim views" after a newspaper piece entitled "We Owe the Arabs Nothing". The Muslim Council of Britain denounced the BBC discussion show presenter's piece as a "gratuitous anti-Arab rant". In the Sunday Express piece, the former Labour MP referred to Arabs as "suicide bombers, limb-amputators, women repressors". The Commission for Racial Equality has also reported the matter to the police. The MCB secretary general Iqbal Sacranie said in a letter to BBC One controller Lorraine Heggessey that Mr Kilroy-Silk had failed to distinguish between the terrorists behind the 11 September attacks and 200 million "ordinary Arab peoples". Mr Sacranie questioned whether if the word Jew or black was substituted for Arab in the piece, the presenter would not still be occupying a high-profile spot on television. A BBC spokeswoman said the corporation was carefully examining Mr Sacranie's letter before deciding whether any action should be taken. The presenter was unable to give a comment due to his mother's funeral. Mr Kilroy-Silk's piece started: "We are told by some of the more hysterical critics of the war on terror that 'it is destroying the Arab world'. So? Should we be worried about that?" Some have complained that anti-Arab and anti-Muslim sentiment has led to attacks Mr Kilroy-Silk went on to say that the toppling of despotic regimes in the Middle East should be a war aim, and questioned the contribution of the Arab nations to world welfare and civilisation. "Apart from oil - which was discovered, is produced and is paid for by the West - what do they contribute? Can you think of anything? Anything really useful?... No, nor can I... "We're told the the Arabs loathe us. Really?... What do they think we feel about them? That we adore them for the way they murdered more than 3,000 civilians on 11 September and then danced in the hot, dusty streets to celebrate the murders?" He said Arab nations should be grateful for the aid and technology the West had provided. "They should go down on their knees and thank God for the munificence of the United States." Mr Sacranie said action should be taken over the "bigoted and ill-informed ideas" in the piece, which was "ignorant, extremely derogatory and indisputably racist". The BBC spokeswoman said: "We've received an e-mail from Mr Iqbal Sacranie and are looking into how the Sunday Express column, which Robert Kilroy-Silk writes in his capacity as a freelance, fits with his on-screen work for the BBC. "We'd like to take the time to carefully consider the points Mr Sacranie makes." CRE chair Trevor Phillips said: "This article is indisputably ****** and its main effect will be to give comfort to the weak-minded. "However, given the extreme and violent terms in which Mr Kilroy-Silk has expressed himself, there is a danger that this might incite some individuals to act against someone who they think is an Arab." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3376633.stm

  12. Dear members, **Please write to the Express on Sunday today.Robert Kilroy-Silk's article in this Sundays Express is extremely offensive and it is very important that as many people as possible write to the SundayExpress about it. Also bear in mind that he is employed by the BBC, and that we pay for his salary via the licence fee. Please write/e-mail of fax today. Keep your letters short and to the point. The contact details are as follows: Sunday ExpressUnited MediaLudgate House245 Blackfriars RdLondon, SE1 9UX e-mail on expressletters@express.co.uk or phone 020 7620 1654 (fax) Note the liberal use of 'they' and 'we', the absurd generalisations made, and the designation of Iran as an Arab state! The article is below: We owe Arabs nothing. Robert Kilroy-Silk, Express on Sunday, 4th January 2004 WE ARE told by some of the more hysterical critics of the war on terror that"it is destroying the Arab world". So? Should w e be worried about that?Shouldn't the destruction of the despotic, barbarous and corrupt Arab statesand their replacement by democratic governments be a war aim? After all, theArab countries are not exactly shining examples of civilisation, are they?Few of them make much contribution to the w elfare of the rest of the world.Indeed, apart from oil - which was discovered, is produced and is paid forby the West - what do they contribute? Can you think of anything? A nythingreally useful? Anything really valuable? Something we really need, could notdo without? No, nor can I. Indeed, the Arab countries put together exportless than Finland. We're told that the Arabs loathe us. Really? For liberating the Iraqis? Forsubsidising the lifestyles of people in Egypt and Jordan, to name but two,for giving them vast amounts of aid? For providing them w ith science, medicine, technology and all the other benefits of the West? They should godown on their knees and thank God for the munificence of the United States. What do they think we feel about them? That we adore them for the w ay theymurdered more than 3,000 civilians on September 11 and then danced in thehot, dusty streets to celebrate the murders? That we admire them for the cold-blooded killings in Mombasa, Y emen andelsewhere? That we admire them for being suicide bombers, limb-amputators,womenrepressors? I don't think the Arab states should start a debate aboutwhat is really loathsome. But why, in any case, should we be concerned that they feel angry and loatheus? The Arab world has not exactly earned our respect, has it? Iran is avile, terrorist-supporting regime - part of the axis of evil. So is theSaddam Hussein-supporting Syria. So is Libya. Indeed, most of them chantsupport for Saddam. That is to say they support an evil dictator who has gassed hundreds ofthousands of their fellow Arabs and tortured and murdered thousands more. How can they do this and expect our respect? Why do they imagine that only they can feel anger, call people loathsome? Itis the equivalent of all the European nations coming out in support ofHitler the moment he was attacked by the US, because he was European, despite the fact that he was attempting to exterminate the Jews - and Arabs. Moreover, the people who claim we are loathsome are currently threateningour civilian populations with chemical and biological weapons. They are promising to let suicide bombers loose in Western and American cities. Theyare trying to terrorise us, disrupt our lives. And then they expect us to be careful of their sensibilities? We havethousands of asylum seekers from Iran, Iraq, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Yemen,Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries living happily in this country onsocial security. This shows what their own people think of the Arab regimes, doesn't it?There is not one single British asylum seeker in any Arab country. That saysit all about which country deserves the epithet loathsome. © Copyright Express Newspapers 2004 The Express on Sunday

Qamam, madax ayuu ruxey isagoo ixtiraamaya saaxiibkiis. Gabdhihii waxay isku fiirinaayeen, perfumeka layiraahdo Romance-- kiisa dhadiga ah. Qaman started the conversation by saying: I have indeed bouth the exact perfume, but obviously the muscluine version of it.The girls looked each other for they were caught off guard. Ooh really said the one with the black coat! What is your verdict, she enquired. Qaman, gathered his thoughts and said; it is mellow, cheek quite alluring—that is if you want to allure others!. Small smile came upon her lips and before she said anything Makhtal, said and what scent are you wearing now Qaman; surely it is not Romance. Both girls looked each other dumbfounded. Makhtar felt a bit embarrassed for his joke was not received warmly. Anyhow, he said, my name is Mursal and this is Qaman. Qaman thought why on earth is he being economical with the actualite? Mine is Quman said the marginally better looking one, the other’s name was Suleekha. Nice to meet you. Suleikha who did not partake the conversation entered by saying; so you guys have done a lot of shopping what is the occasion? Or are you guys meto-sexual—Makhtal never heard this expression before he thought the girl was being cheeky. Qaman smiled, metrosuxal; that is an interesting expression. Oh really, said Quman; how so? Mukhtar who at time felt being in wilderness, said I am starving! Qaman’s retort was I can eat; and perhaps we can continue this conversation at the Grill restaurant. They looked each other, the girls said to the boys, can you give as a second we need to buy stuff and perhaps we can do lunch. The boys excused themselves. When Qaman had the first chance, he enquired as to why on earth he told them his name was Mursal. Makhtal could not rationally explain; and said perhaps out of instinct I have this—Mursal use to be the name he adopted whilst being single. Plus he said, if I tell them who I am then perhaps they would know me and their shown interest would die there. Makhtal was not planning to cheat on his wife to be. He had been with her for nearly three years and considering his past; he had been extremely faithful man to his lady. He numerous times proclaimed his love towards her. It was apparent to anyone who knew him that his heart was taken by his bride to be. After their brief shopping the girls were ready to go. After a chit chat in the black cap (Makhtal hates the public transport, hence when not driving the merciful Black caps get all his change). The girls were not impressed by taking black cap. They were equally cultured not to mention well endowed. They reached the restrauant. After the first course the conversation become very relaxed. Zuleekha said that she was envited to a wedding next week by her mother in this Hotel. Makhtal become curious and asked when was the wedding? She told him the date. She then continued to say, I don’t know why he is marrying her; she cares nothing about him; she is after his money. At this point Makhtal was becoming very uneasy. He said, what do you mean, are you saying she is just interested in his money and if so, how would you know such private issue. Oh, she said, she has been having an affair with Fahad—a boy who have nothing to offer to her apart from the fact they are from the same tribe. Fahad who? He said he could not believe what he was hearing. Fortunately, he telephone rung and he went to outside conviniently. Quman was quite suspicious about his behviour. She said, is your friend alright? He has been having some problems with his family said Qaman, before excusing to check up on his wounded friend. He saw Makhtal in the Hallway who turned red —he said this is……………………………………….. PURPOSE VALUES

Salamu Alaikum, For a long time have I read something as a calamitous philosophical attempt to define or perhaps to demystify the actuality of value. However, it would be rather off beam if I did not concur certain observation made by two contributors; namely the distinguished young Idil and the sagacious Baashi. Walahi elation was what I felt after reading their poignant points which they have adorned with silky attire—words I have last read when feasting my eyes upon the works of Kant and Alghazali. Enough for the deference, now let us look at the issue with my patent spectacles—not that I wear one normally. I shall not bore you all the metaphysical jargon, I shall be succinct Value in material world is subjective. For example Water is less valuable than diamond. What then determines the value of diamonds? Do diamonds have intrinsic value? Of course the high demand of it and the less supply makes it more “valuable” monetarily wise than the water. Having said that it lacks intrinsic value—In other words without the demand of it; it is worthless. Whereas water is needed because life’s existence depends upon it thus making it a commodity that has intrinsic value. That is all I have add to this topic;; all the other issues have been covered by my learned friends. Thus Spake I

Calaayataxaal, walaashiis, excuse maaha inaad tiraahdo waa lakala gogyahoo waxba la isuma sheegayo dee! Just kidding, actually I was reffering to your experiance in Somalia. 24. Mr Right they say, what does that mean. Consider He. Educated, relatively pious, roughly handsome and loyal boy meets the lady he considers to be the ONE (I never knew the meaning of the ONE- then again I know little about these things for I am a mere Faarax). She tells him that she loves him and all the paraphernalia that women trap their potential victims. He in turn believing this chimera falls in love. He puts his guards down to allow to experience this magical thing he read voluminous books about. He takes the first step with caution, just to find that the room is comely decorated with honour, dignity culture and to his most adored thing- Intellect. When he sits on the sofa, he is body becomes warm with ethereal pleasure. His eyes glow with the prospect of inhabiting this room the rest of his life. All the worries in life vanishes in front of his eyes; blissful happiness begins he thought to have ought experience. Within a while little problems corps up—that is just before marriage. The lady comes up with things that forget about intelligent person but a child who enjoys candy would see it trivial—think of this child, he has his first candy for a month and the first lick he takes it falls off him thus becoming soiled. Would a child with the intense love of this candy leave it or would he grab it and washed and commence enjoyi the delectablity of the candy or he would leave it in the soil—assume he is poor child who can not afford to buy another candy. The lady who is (or so he is assuming) like this child and him being the candy, upon becoming soiled the lady abandons her lover. One asks curiously what the problem is? The problem obviously is that she values him less; she listens to those satanic whispers that occur when we have slight problems. It magnifies it; upon seeing the mirage of this magnified pictures she decides to abondon it; claiming to looking after her interest.
