Scientist! What an impish lot they are. You see, they acquire some information but they indeed miss the meaning of it. For example, you hold your hand a ring and you close it. You ask the chap next to you to guess what you have in your closed fist; he thinks for a bit and finally utters; it is something round, hollow in between! Uuh it is spoon!!!!! You see, the discription is right but the conclusion which is the thing that matters misses the point. That is scientist for you. String theory is marvelous thing, but as usual they miss the point. Everything, I mean me you the screen you are looking at are made of these strings, (quacks are made of strings; vibrations) and they are not constant, they appear and disappear; how then if that is the case, why do we have high raised buildings! Why can’t they disappear! Why do you (perceivably) stay constant? This is where they err. You see, everything is in unity in this world; nothing is without HE. Bugger philosophy, this is the theory of all theories! Master of the universal theories. Everything is just is and nothing exist without the design and divine harmonization of all things! and when you just be would you know the Haqiiqa-- allah. Kulu man Calayhaa Faan, wayabqaa wajhu Rabika Dul Jalaali Wal Ikraam. They remain as they are because of divine design. Meel aan loo jeedin ayey wax ka dayaan. Viking, thanks for initiating this issue. We had this discussion in Sufi Circle I have been attending lately. Rumi had said beautiful things about this theory walahi and you know he was no scientist. The cosmic dance of the Sufis is the demonstration of rotating and particles of the universe. These things are divine enlightenment, it is so peculiarly mysterious that no logic of human being would be able to grasp it. Get rid of the I and Allah will reveal the truth to you. I is the root of all evil. As Satan Himself had become what he is because of I, Why would I bow to thee who is created of clay where I am of a fire!!!!. Exalted he, who makes this universe perfect.

An streak of lightweightedness runs through this thread! charmingly simple one might utter before breaking into a laughter that is induced only by seeing some horridly whimsical creature! alas tears march down my cheeks!! all of course as result of inverted joy!!!!!

As suspected "reer sool and Ceyn" had deserted thier "own" man. He had only got 5 votes out of 18-- just got a call from Garoowe!. Anyhow, democracy prevails and I hope the King will lead the people of Puntland to green pastures of peace and prosperity. Sophist

The malignant disease that defines Somalis.

First may you take this apportunity to define or better outline what was the current president of Somalia's policies were while he was at the helm of Puntland!

Sirrus, good to see you back old chap, you were in London and haven’t gave me a ding! What a indictable offence that is and about the Irish thing, aren't we once called the Irish of Africa—because of our tenacity and love for freedom; or was it that we were difficult to be ruled by a foreigner? On the serious note, the constitution states that the president isn’t ceremonial. His powers are far greater than that of President of Iraq. What we have opted for is the French model it seems. Check this website for the Federal Charter: http://www.somali-civilsociety.org/downloads/Charter%20-%20draft%205.pdf Look at Article 45, the functions of the president.

Some men cloak themselves with attires that they deem it to be fit in covering of their unsightly bodies; these men are called in Soomali “Cureyshiâ€. A word which perhaps would be rather taxing to translate into English—for those who are novice in our beautiful language, then you should hold responsible whoever was your guardian when you were growing up in these cold or overtly hot lands. Before I lose the course of which I have set to be on when I started typing these words on the computers seconds ago, let with great gusto allow yourselves to come with me on a journey not only self-discovering from my part but you the reader or even those who you read their thoughts on this website, particularly the vagabonds of the political section. My intention to un-earth without insulting anyone in particular what many individuals motives are when writing on these pages (I claim to be not a physic, but living amongst humans to-be’s is rather interesting experience, one that should equip you to prognosticate their potential reactions or even intentions as to why they respond or even initiate a thread). Such a task perhaps might be deemed rather no efficient perhaps for the writer might be deemed to be closer to the subject not in nature but perhaps by sheer of contractual agreements. Fear not my reader, such would not avail a cynic (or even the victim of my sharp sword) to out do their wit. Without further ado, what has prompted me to initiate this thread is a response I had seen in another thread. A chap who fancies himself to be erudite wrote one of the most rather detestably repulsive responses about the plight of a young Somali sister who had suffered under the hands of another Somalis who allegedly committed acts that are gross injustice to humanity—rape, stripping off her liberty and mortification. Any person with a shred of decency would be appalled by what had happened to that poor girl, but not this man. He with eloquence of jocularism tried to trivialise the matter. You see, I would not be astonished by such behaviour of certain writers of this website would have penned down such nefariously noxious piece of demeritoriousness--- some are rather low on humanity and would thread any uncharted road in return of clannish rhetoric. This man mostly tries to be whimsical about politics and distances himself from these warring groups in the politics section, but his ill-training predisposes him sometimes to heave the vile fluids in his intestines and trust thee, his sediments are fetid for the clean mind. Who then is this Cureyshi?. Nin Caqli lihina waa ogyahay, nacasna loo sheegimayo. Respectfully, Sophist

How about setting up another group and naming them the actual government-- parallel governments, the Somali style
