Somalia: Newspaper Critical of Islamic Courts is Publicly Burned in Somaliland's Second City Reporters Without Borders has voiced concern that an angry crowd in Buro, the second largest city in the northern breakaway territory of Somaliland, burned more than a thousand copies of the independent daily "Haatuf" on 13 October 2006 on the grounds that it criticises the Mogadishu-based Islamic courts. "Newspaper-burning is serious and should be condemned by all those who claim to be the guarantors of peace in Somalia," the press freedom organisation said. Brokers! I know that there is a An Advisory group who is pidding now PSAG SA (Swiss company) their offer is much better than that of Range et all. I support the government in principal but I have a moral responsiblity to shed light to anything that is shady that the TFG might be involved in. I know for a fact that there are number of unsavoury individuals who are now steering these deals-- be that as the oil or anything that is worth something to the country. These individuals don't have the right to exploit our natural resources; there is a collective ownership matey. The boy in Raaskaanbooni should have his share in the oil that might be found in Holhol.

Actually, if Puntland and TFG want to heed the advice of the experts (they are now being contacted by Swiss based energy advisory Group) the they are in a possition to declare null and void as the agreement was agreement of services but not that of profit sharing.
