  1. " A normal man will not have that much time on his hands to follow someone around or even notice the stranger that rushed passed him." May be he noticed her exceptional grace and thought; I won't bugger work I shall speak to thee for she seems a great lady to be a companion and mother!! Cambaro: Hubby: I need to take bus 23 to Harrods, do you know where I can get that? Cambarro: Harrods; darling, I am heading there myself; shall we grab a black cab? And there it begins!!
  2. " I'd like to think that a respectbale man would have been in bed by that time in order to get up for work ealry in the morning. Suffice to say I was after a serious hard-working man" Serious hard-working men who also work over the weekend? I thought most Somali weddings happen either on Friday evening (I mean night) or Saturday!! Back to the topic! Fancy responding to your kid when she asks this question "Dady how did you meet my mother" oh I met her in party in London town! she was happening---excuse my poor attempt to sound like a hoodie!!!.

"Xaliimo, xabiibi give me your answer true I am half crazy, over my love for you It won't be a fancy marriage, I can't afford a gaadhi but you'd look sweet, on a bicycle made for two" Uh, you are so poor but you dare to pursue? A priced princes like I is worth more If you were minted; my mind would have been yours Or if you have pretended then things might have been fine, But now I know, pity we will never be!.
  5. Thanks Sakhar for the pictures! the Video is nice.
  6. I should upload mine! These pictures don't do justice of Puntland man. What I have seen in Puntland months ago were more impressive. Anyhow, thanks for the pics chaps.
  7. If I win/inherent (the latter is someting of whishful thinking from my part); I will stay within the industry I am working in but will set up a company with my immediate manager doing similiar things we are invoved in. I am sure we will be making a killing!!!. I use to have similiar sentiments darling; but reality smacks you on the face-- alas one must pay the bills!!!. Anyhow, you have to decide (that is if you are living in the west) to work terribly hard when you are young and enjoy the fruits of your labour whence you are in your mid forties that is if you are lucky. By the by, living in the west, the condition of living is a bit tasking thusly, if you prefer more sedate and thoughtful living perhaps you must think about relocating to somewhere in the developing countries where people only working is not the main pre-occupation.
  8. "So unlike some of you here, I dont need to pretend or get a new name like Shiek Cayro-Wanabe" I like this one very much! I really laughed thoroughly.

  10. HornAfrique, Maandhoow; ma D'da taariikhdeeda larabo in lagu bedelo gaalo raacnimo ayaad ileedahay aan raacno? Anigu taariikhdi Somali ay laheyd oo ahaa gaaldiidnimada shaqsiyaad rabitaankooda uma duugeyno maandhow. As Ali Radiyalahuu Canhu said: Qaadibunaasa Calaa qadri cuquulihim; the above comment is necessary in light of the current position of the audient! One must convey one’s opinion in a fashion that his audience can relate to.

  14. Grand Mufti to speak at Cambridge 2 November 2006 Egypt’s highest-ranking Muslim official, the Grand Mufti Dr Ali Goma, will be speaking at the Faculty of Divinity at the University of Cambridge this evening. Dr Goma is visiting Cambridge to explore possible future relationships between Christian and Muslim scholars, with a view to encouraging better understanding between the two different religious traditions. It coincides with the establishment of a successful exchange programme between the University of Cambridge and Al Azhar University, one of Egypt’s premier institutions of higher learning. Now in its second year, the programme allows theological students to spend a term at the other university. Dr Goma’s visit is being hosted by the Cambridge Inter-Faith Programme, based at the University’s Faculty of Divinity, and the Cambridge Theological Foundation. The Cambridge Inter-Faith Programme is currently developing a teaching and research programme exploring Islam, Christianity and Judaism, examining both their similarities and differences. In the long-term, it aims to develop relationships between Muslim, Christian and Jewish scholars that will allow them to contribute constructively to encouraging greater peace and understanding between different faiths as their careers develop. David Ford, Regius Professor of Divinity at Cambridge, said: “Education and better understanding is the most sure way to lasting and fruitful relationships between the world’s three great monotheistic traditions. “The joint visit of one of the world’s most senior Muslim clerics and the Anglican Communion’s representative in Egypt is a sign of the trust and friendship that can be fostered through dialogue and understanding. Few things are more important for the coming century than that Muslims, Christians and Jews understand each other, and draw on the riches of their traditions to live in peace with each other.” For further information, please contact the University of Cambridge Office of Communications on 01223 332300
  15. HornAfrique; oh you know that I am of the opinion that our people don't deserve to die because of haughtiness of certain individuals and groups! is that what you are against maandhow? Paragon: It is inhumane and not to mention complete against the teachings of our prophet to kill a prisoner. You don't do that old boy; victor makes rules don't apply to the who are cloaked Islamic morals.
  16. " n essence his assertions are that bad policies can ensure poverty, good policies spark wealth creation" This was first stipulated by Amartya Sen (former Trinity Master, Cambridge) in his seminal work freedom as a development.

  18. My relatives who have an informed ear in Somali politics told me this guy was a known TERRORIST! God bles him!!!
  19. No! Canmex is completely different! the chap who is the president; his father was famous gas and coal chap-- died in Sweden Septn 06. Anyhow, this is not sealed as of yet! the fat lady has yet to sing--- perhaps might be starting to sing in two weeks.
  20. Allamagan; Can you give me the definitive definition of massacre? I am just say this is sensationalism at this best-- I am not just referring to this unfortunate incident; but generally. These website are these days in the habit of using rather emotive language. This oftentimes leads to misrepresentation of facts!! AND THAT IS ALL I AM SAYING MAANDHOOW!!!
  21. Having spoken to the one of the high ranking officials in Puntland this morning! this Canmex deal will not go through because of the inherent problems within the incapablity of said company. People want anything that might bring a glimmer of prosperity! that is just given. Anyhow will update you if there is any development.
  22. Okay; I am going to be thoroughly anal here but Massacre iyo Xasuuq!! these are not words fit for the allegedly hedious crimes commited in Buale. A typical tabloid somali website writes "Xasuuq ka dhacay magaalada XXXX ayaa waxaa naftooda kuwaayey 2 qof" Xasuus lama oran karo tiradaas yar.
