  5. I don't think they are trying to cheat anyone. Experiments have a way of going awry.
  6. ^You know you shouldn't talk about a person when they aren't around I am working on getting your request granted. In the meantime, I am left wondering what this young girl might be like when she is grown.

    Prayer Beads

^^ I have read that before. It is sunnah to count with your fingers. No one is negating that. Fatwas are meant to be used as guidelines and as long as I am not showing off (don't know for the life of me how you can be showy with a tusbax.......is it the pretty beads?) and am attentive then I don't see any conflict of interest. Personally I have qualms everytime I see this phrase was not known at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). There are a million things in the present that were not known during the times of the Prophet (PBUH) are we to negate every single use of them eg. a car? Think about it, if some of the followers were using stones to count out their tasbih then perhaps had the tusbax being around they might have used it? Allah knows best. We all have been given intelligence and tools (Quran and Sunnah) we need to make our own decisions. For me, I don't see a problem with using the tusbax. Jzk for the paste from Q and A, now everyone should make an informed decision noh ?
  8. I was at work today looking at news sources when I came across this article stating that a renowned physicist, Holger Nielsen, believes that the Higgs Boson particle is traveling back in time and sabotaging the LHC. Full article here Funnily enough he can prove this mathematically?
  9. ^^Speaking of bumper stickers there is a guy at the gym I go to who prints out his own paper bumper stickers and tapes it to his car. He is a night owl like me so I am trying go figure out who he is........only clue I got is he is a cynical conservative.

Mine is 99 but small cute ones with no words on them. Why not a movement? If every tenth person were to have a tusbax the world would be filled with less arguments. People are so peaceful and kind when they are remembering their Lord. (Most of the time)

FB lol I stopped a dozen places on the way there! It was fun going to use a water pump and fill jerry cans! Speaking of which the smell of lubaan always reminds me of Turkana cause the water was kept cool in a pot that had lubaan in it. I didn't see it as a bad thing it was quiet enjoyable. I am sure those memories can't be reconstructed, they will forever warm our hearts.

    Prayer Beads

I wanted to inquire as to how one would feel seeing someone wrap a tusbax around the wrist. I have been doing that for the past two months and sometimes I get awful stares from people. The reason I do it cause everytime I am sitting around doing nothing I use the tusbax to remember God. I think its a great tool after my friend told me she has one in the car for when she is stuck in traffic. Now I use it when I am waiting for a meeting, when I am in traffic, when I am taking a break. Its great cause it being wrapped around my wrist reminds me that every second counts. I am also secretly trying to create a movement On the other hand i also wanted to see does anyone know about the history of prayer beads. Lots of faith seem to have it that it has to have some common origin doesn't it?

    Childhood

Tamarinds used to be my achilles heels. I used to climb the tree at school for everyone and get it for them. Off course I used to charge them for my services. I knew I was going to be yelled at for messing up my uniform. My childhood was fun. I wouldn't change anything of it except a couple things but relatively wonderful. I have plenty of tales to regal my lil ones Inshallah. I think for me its the smells of roasted meat Mshakiki . It brings back memory of the neighbourhood guys roasting and selling them for 2 Ksh for a stick of it. (Yummy)
