  4. ^The people are volunteers. So apart from maybe getting police protection and traffic management I doubt it is gonna cost anything. Allamagan, how do you feel about the human wall then? It is sad that Palestinians have the walls that keep them in and have to go through checkpoints just to get from one side to the other but isn't human civilization always been about divisions and segregation?
  5. ^Lol @ your imagination. Ok I am off but I will leave you with my track for the day. Exile-Enya Her new album is dropping in 5 days, can't wait.

^ Don't you think it would be disastrous if a woman had a harem of men? Think of the whining that will occur.

  9. ^ This explains the cookie monster. Grouch used be my fav in Sesame street though I got to say I was a fraggle rock fan. Dance your cares away, Worry's for another day. Let the music play, Down at Fraggle Rock. Work you cares away, Dancing's for another day. Let the Fraggles play, We're Gobo, Mokey, Wembley, Boober, Red. Dance your cares away, Worry's for another day. Let the music play, Down at Fraggle Rock. Down at Fraggle Rock. Down at Fraggle Rock. Ps:- Sesame street still resounds with the new generation but they are more interested in Dora and Blues Clues

    Polygamy Club!

Originally posted by NGONGE: That line, though, is not the coalition’s central argument: their rather flimsy charge is that the existence of polygamy “labels men as egotistical, aggressive, unfaithful and unable to control their libidos”. Maybe so, but most of us merrily tick all those boxes by simply sitting in the boozer, watching the football, bellowing at the ref and chatting up the barmaid. Are you planning to start a similar party/club in UK?
  13. ^You best be careful around STOIC he is a philly fan. I watched a game at Old Trafford a few years back. I had to cheer for ManU since I was in a group of uni friends teaching us (americans) how to watch soccer.
  14. ^ Hate baseball with a passion but my best friends are die hard Red Sox fans and once in a while I go over and watch the game. You must have satellite to watch premier league. Ever since I came to NA, I haven't been able to watch any soccer. Its a shame cause I am a tru BLUE fan.
  15. ^Not to be obvious to your oblivious nature dear but first off its not my critique of the art display. Second off you quoted that one phrase leading me to believe that the terms cynical and brilliant are the contradictory terms in the oxymoron. Now would you like to rephrase the question please?
  16. ^ Where were you on Sunday lol. It did happen and we won albeit it was because Rodgers never got much protection from his offensive line during the first half. Why is it unfortunate? The borders on the ground don't hold me, I have an East Coast heart.
  17. ^Are you saying pessimists cannot be smart?
  18. A British artist, Martin Butler, has an idea to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. On November 9th, he hopes that 33,000 volunteers will form a line for 1/2 hour along the 29 mile path that the wall used to stand. Here is a transcript of what one commentator,Andrei Codrescu, said about the idea. Twenty years have passed and yes, the ex-commie fiefdoms and their petty tyrants are gone. There are supermarkets where lines of people once stood like walls waiting for food. Yes, the masses are free to travel and they do, often choosing not to return home, which has a lot of Western Europeans worried that yes, the brick wall is gone, but walls of people keep on coming. There are walls and walls. Between the Great Wall of China built to keep invaders out and the Berlin Wall build to keep people in, there are a variety of walls with mixed messages, like the U.S.-Mexican border wall that claims to keep immigrants from entering. But mostly keeps Lou Dobbs in business. And then, there are the countless anonymous walls that people were lined up against and shot. These are the walls that keep me from fully digging Butler's wall. Thirty-three thousand people all lined up - not on your life. I will be waiting 15 minutes for a bullet. Well, that's art, you might say, experiencing for 15 minutes what some people experienced for a lifetime - a bit like a minute of solitary at Alcatraz as opposed to 50 years. But time is subjective and even one minute of hell is too long. I find his take on the temporary arty monument quiet cynical and brilliant
  19. ^ Oi leave KG out of this he stuck it out. MN is the one who doesn't know how to build a team around a player. A Bunch of Stingy tightwads  He is town by the way I should go catch the game but I can't be bothered to see a one sided game. As for Favre.......if he doesn't get us anything this year he will leave too.
  20. ^Yur! Old enough kulaha The Gnarls Barkley video is disturbing. I so knew who Slick Rick was because this has to be my Curly  @ Kate Bush. This is interesting. How would you rate vs . I don't think anyone can do it better than Pavarotti
  21. ^ I did figure out someone was going to say that. I guess my days of doing brains teasers in school with pals doesn't quite work out in my defense.
  22. ^Love Etta James. I have her on my ipod on a chilling playlist with Ella Fitzgerald, Maxwell, Erykah Badu, Vivian Green and her pops Al Green. I am mellowing down for a kip to these. Going Home-Kenny G
