As a kid i always wanted to be a lawyer and not just any lawyer i wanted to be a big shot criminal lawyer. *sigh* yea that was a long time ago though...what im doing now is far from that. But i'm happy with what im studying now so thats cool. As for on the side things, i'd love to write professionally. Havent really done anything but i've thought of taking a weekend class to sorta help out.

I dont post in the islam section but i read it from time to time, as for where i post; usually in the womens or general. The jokes section is neat too *yeaa!* i havent gone into the politics section before..like never *and i've been here awhile* nor do i visit the somali section. i cant relate nor understand either sections. the sports section is just filled with soccer this and soccer that and gets too depressing after awhile...really whats soccer but kicking a ball? blah!

today i posted more than i normally do in a week. oh oh and today barney said "and remember, i love you" got this funny flutter in my heart *sigh*

what about maternity leave for postsecondary students? Do we have that? seen a few round bellies on campus and thought it would be helpful if there was such a thing.

quite true ghanima...its really a rotten thing to do! i mean to deal with diapers AGAIN!? DO make sure you record every nice act you do for him...in the future when you ask him to clean something for you its always helpful to pull out the 'tapes'.

Mark, a loving husband, was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary and his wife was really ticked off at him. She told him, "Tomorrow morning I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in under 6 seconds, AND IT BETTER BE THERE." The next morning Mark got up really early before work. When his wife woke up a couple of hours later, she looked out the window. And sure enough, there was a small gift-wrapped box sitting in the middle of the driveway. Confused the wife put on her robe, ran out to the driveway and took the box into the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale. Mark is not yet well enough to have visitors.

Oh Oh this reminds me...we have a new holiday in Ontario! Family day on feb 15 is now an official holiday, which means a long weekend for those who are students and double pay for those who are working ..or a day off. that aside..i shall not disturb you jb

There are certain foods that require spoons, knives or forks and then there are those that are better eaten with ones hands. If you think eating with hands is uncivilized then do go on and eat suqaar and canjeero with a fork and knife and be 'civilized'.

today i've learned that i am racist...and thats just ugly. I shall work on changing that inshallah.

i could be going to a islamic conference and there would be no way my parents would give the 'ok' to me driving from one province to another. Big fat NO. And if my brother were the one giving the answer, i'd be smacked right across my head and told to think twice before asking such silly things...then he'd ask if i needed a ride and he'd ofcourse willingly drive me himself. I hated it during my teens but now i understand their reasons and i'd totally do the same with my own kids inshallah.
