NAIROBI, April 24 (Reuters) - The carnage and suffering in Somalia may be the worst in more than a decade -- but you'd hardly know it from your nightly news. For a mix of reasons, from public fatigue at another African conflict to international diplomatic divisions and frustration, a war slaughtering civilians and creating a huge refugee crisis has failed to grab world attention or stir global players. "There is a massive tragedy unfolding in Mogadishu, but from the world's silence, you would think it's Christmas," said the head of a Mogadishu political think-tank, who declined to be named because of the precarious security situation in Somalia. Somalis caught up in Mogadishu's worst violence for 16 years are painfully aware of their place on the global agenda. "Nobody cares about Somalia, even if we die in our millions," said Abdirahman Ali, a 29-year-old father-of-two who works as a security guard in Mogadishu. Liban Ibrahim, a 30-year-old bus driver in the Somali capital, said: "The world does not care about our plight. The United Nations is busy issuing statements when innocent civilians are dying every day." The latest flare-up followed a U.S.-backed Ethiopian-Somali government New Year offensive that ended the Islamists' six-month rule of Mogadishu. In the past month, local officials and activists say nearly 1,300 people have died in fighting between government troops and their Ethiopian allies on the one side, and Islamists with disgruntled ****** clan fighters on the other. Aid agencies have sounded the alarm over an exodus of 321,000 refugees from Mogadishu, and there have been appeals for calm from the United Nations and the Arab League. But nothing like the sort of global mobilisation or concern that would normally accompany events of such magnitude, analysts say. "In Washington, of course, people are too tied up with Iraq and their own impending elections to pay any attention to yet more news of Somalis killing each other," said a Nairobi-based Western diplomat who asked not to be named. "And if they do have a snippet of time for Africa, it's only Darfur because of the international dimensions that has taken and the power of the lobbyists," the diplomat added. INTERNATIONAL DIVISIONS Media practicalities are playing their part. Mogadishu is too dangerous for most Western journalists, while Arab broadcaster Al Jazeera has been shut down. So the news comes largely from a handful of brave locals filing to international news agencies. Images to shock the conscience are everywhere -- corpses on the street, shattered buildings, wounded babies, refugees under trees, hospital corridors full of blood and screams. But they are, in large, not getting out because of the dangers of capturing such footage and the few cameramen there. "The world's media are far away. That's definitely part of the problem," Ali Iman Sharmarke, co-owner of Somali broadcaster HornAfrik, told Reuters. "But also, the political actors just aren't talking about it. Maybe they believe Somalis have brought this on themselves and deserve it." Rather than wilful disdain, however, it is splits over what to do with Somalia that are paralysing the world's response. The West broadly supports the government, but is uneasy at its failure to reach out to Islamists and the ******. There are tensions between the United States and Europe over the degree of support to the government and its Ethiopian backers. Some Arab nations are accused of sending arms to the Islamists. And in the Horn, Eritrea has just pulled out of the regional body IGAD which it feels is bowing to Ethiopian interests over Somalia. GLOBAL "EMBARRASSMENT" Michael Weinstein, a U.S. expert on Somalia at Purdue University, said the international community had tied itself up by backing a government without a broad national constituency. President Abdullahi Yusuf's administration was set up at internationally endorsed peace talks in Kenya in 2004 in the 14th attempt to restore central rule so Somalia since 1991. "For the major (world) leaders, there is a tremendous embarrassment over Somalia," he said. "They have committed themselves to supporting the interim government -- a government that has no broad legitimacy, a failing government. "This is the heart of the problem. ... But Western leaders can't back out now, so of course they have 100 percent no interest in bringing global attention to Somalia. "There is no doubt that Somalia has been shoved aside by major media outlets and global leaders, and the Somali diaspora is left crying in the wilderness." "And your Lord revealed to the bee saying: Make hives in the mountains and in the trees and in what they build: Then eat of all the fruits and walk in the ways of your Lord submissively. There comes forth from within it a beverage of many colours, in which there is healing for men; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who reflect. (Surat an-Nahl, 68-69) Honey is a sweet treat. In fact, it is man's oldest sweetener. It can be a good substitute for sugar in our drinks and food. But it is also good for many other things and treating many other conditions. Reliance on commercialized medicines which contains too much chemicals can become hazardous to our health. Alhamdullilah, Allah has given us the knowledge that Mother Nature can at least help to ease the pain we are suffering from. Honey is composed of sugars like glucose and fructose and minerals like magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium chlorine, sulphur, iron and phosphate. It contains vitamins B1, B2, C, B6, B5 and B3 all of which change according to the qualities of the nectar and pollen. Besides the above, copper, iodine, and zinc exist in it in small quantities. Several kinds of hormones are also present in it. Approximately one half of the human diet is derived directly or indirectly from crops pollinated by bees. Today honeybees are an essential part of a healthy agriculture economy. If you have allergies, honey can be beneficial. If you eat honey that is local to your area, it may prevent your seasonal allergies. Bees use the pollen from local plants and eventually it ends up in your honey. Honey may also be good for your skin. It has the ability to attract water. You can use honey instead of alpha hydroxy masks because of its high content of the acid. It is also safe for sensitive skin. You can also use it as a moisturizing mask for your skin as well as your hair. To use it as a conditioner, mix the honey with olive oil. Be sure to wash your hair thoroughly before you go outside. If you have a sore throat, take some honey.Due to its natural anti-inflammatory effect, it will help to heal the wounds more quickly. It also has different phytochemicals--chemicals found in plants and different foods--that kill viruses, bacteria, and fungus making it a good substitute for wound dressings. The taste may also take your mind off the pain. There is evidence that honey diluted in water will help with your stomachaches and dehydration. Germ-Fighting Properties Do you have a cut? Honey is a natural antiseptic. Medical journals cite more than 600 cases in which honey was employed to treat wounds.By applying honey to your wounds, you prevent infections. Honey contains antimicrobial agents, which prevents infections by killing the bacteria in and around your wounds. When using honey it may help to heat it up before putting it on your wound (caution test the heat before you place it on the wound). Many types of bacteria can’t survive in honey, so wounds heal, swelling eases, and tissue can grow back. Honey may also be effective in the treatment of your ulcers. In Europe, honey has been used internally to help cure ulcers, particularly stomach ulcers. Burns, too, heal better with honey, studies show. The advantage of honey is that it not only prevents infections from occurring, it actually accelerates skin healing.. Since the sugar in honey absorbs water it helps to trap some of the moisture so that the bacteria and other microbes can’t grow as easily as in other food. How Does It Help In Healing Wounds? When honey comes into contact with body moisture, the glucose oxidase enzyme introduced to the honey by the bee slowly releases the antiseptic hydrogen peroxide at a sufficient level to be effective against bacteria but not tissue damaging. Not only is honey anti-bacterial, it also draws body fluids and nutrients to the area and so assists cell growth and prevents a scar forming by drying out of the wound. The osmotic action of the honey draws out and provides a film of liquid between the tissues and the dressing, allowing the dressing to be removed painlessly, without tearing of the re-growing cells. There are reports in medical journals of large bed sores, otherwise needing skin grafts, that have healed without scarring after honey treatment. In treating diarrhea, honey promotes the rehydration of the body and more quickly clears up the diarrhea and any vomiting and stomach upsets. The anti-bacterial properties of honey, both the peroxide and non-peroxide, are effective in the laboratory against MRSA strains of bacteria which are notoriously resistant to antibiotics and are sometimes responsible for the closing of hospital wards. Other Benefits of Honey Easily digested: Because sugar molecules in honey can convert into other sugars (e.g. fructose to glucose), honey is easily digested by the most sensitive stomachs, despite its high acid content. It helps kidneys and intestines to function better. Good source of antioxidants: It plays a big role in the prevention of cancer as well as heart disease. Has a low calorie level: Another quality of honey is that, when it is compared with the same amount of sugar, it gives 40% less calories to the body. Although it gives great energy to the body, it does not add weight. Rapidly diffuses through the blood: When accompanied by mild water, honey diffuses into the bloodstream in 7 minutes. Its free sugar molecules make the brain function better since the brain is the largest consumer of sugar, thus, reduces fatigue. Supports blood formation: Honey provides an important part of the energy needed by the body for blood formation. In addition, it helps in cleansing the blood. It has some positive effects in regulating and facilitating blood circulation. It also functions as a protection against capillary problems and arteriosclerosis. Does not accommodate bacteria: This bactericide (bacteria-killing) property of honey is named "the inhibition effect". Experiments conducted on honey show that its bactericide properties increase twofold when diluted with water. It is very interesting to note that newly born bees in the colony are nourished with diluted honey by the bees responsible for their supervision - as if they know this feature of the honey. Royal Jelly: Royal jelly is a substance produced by worker bees inside the beehive. Inside this nutritious substance are sugar, proteins, fats and many vitamins. It is used in problems caused by tissue deficiency or body frailty. It is obvious that honey, which is produced in much higher amounts than the requirements of the bees, is made for the benefit of man. And it is also obvious that bees cannot perform such an unbelievable task "on their own."

A man joined a big Multi National Company as a trainee. On his first day, He dialed the pantry and shouted into the phone, "Get me a Coffee, quickly!" The voice from the other side responded, "You fool you've dialed the wrong extension! Do you know who you're talking to, dumbo?" "No," replied the trainee. "It's the Managing Director of the company, you fool!" The trainee shouted back, "And do you know who YOU are Talking to, you fool?" "No." replied the Managing Director indignantly. "Thanks God!" replied the trainee and put down the phone.

APPROACHING WOMEN Most men will agree that approaching a woman is probably one of the most stressful situations they can find themselves in. The reason they find it so difficult is that they fear being rejected. This fear is so strong that it causes men to behave in very abnormal ways, such as stuttering like never before or engaging in completely irrational behavior. For example, I was once standing at a bar when a man leaned over and said, "Whew, would you look at that sexy woman, hmm, I'd sure like to get into her panties." So I told the guy to go talk to her. But he insisted on having a couple of drinks before moving in on his target. An hour later, the fellow was still at the bar looking her way. The nice thing was that she too was looking his way and maintaining his gaze. At one point, she even smiled at him. She was giving him all the right signals and her body language was definitely inviting. no hesitationBut instead of encouraging him to make a move, the staring rally only motivated him to turn back toward the barmaid and order another drink. By this time, the shy fellow had become very excited due to all the attention he was getting. The only problem was that he had no clue how to approach this woman, coupled with the fact that he'd already had a few JD shots and five beers. Two hours later, the woman left with a very disappointed look on her face while my new buddy was asleep on the bar. What happened? Well, the poor man was so nervous that he drank himself to sleep and never had the chance to approach her. Needless to say, this man was going to spend another lonely night with his hand. Pathetic! the preparationOkay, let's get one thing straight: Unless you're Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt, you will be rejected at some point. Even the Player gets rejected once in a while. So understand that it's normal; it's part of the dating game. No one person can please everyone. Some women like blond men, while others like dark-haired men. Some women like chubby guys, while others like muscular dudes. Some women like tall men, while others prefer vertically challenged ones. She might even already have a boyfriend. The secret is to not take rejection personally. You can't let the fear of rejection prevent you from approaching a woman. My conversion ratio is about 30%, which means that for every 10 women I meet, seven will reject me and three will speak to me. Now you might think that 30% is pretty low, but it sure beats 0, which is the case when you don't approach any women at all. So you've guessed it: The reason I always meet women is because I always approach at least eight to 10 of them. I'll admit it: Rejection is not easy to digest, but there are a couple of steps you can take before approaching a woman to measure the probability of success. I won't approach a woman unless I know that my chances of being rejected are low. This is why I have a conversion ratio of 30%. Many of the men who actually have the courage to approach women do it blindly and without any observation. This means that their conversion ratio is very low, which is bad for the ego. Before approaching a woman, I recommend observing two key factors: body language and flirting. How can you measure these variables? body languageBefore making any moves, I like to observe her body language to see if she is interested in me. If she makes frequent eye contact, smiles a lot, plays with her hair, and fidgets with her clothes or her jewelry, I can be pretty certain that she's not going to reject me outright. flirtingFlirting is an excellent way to confirm what her body language is telling you. In return, flirting is one of the ways women discover what you'll be like as a lover. Flirting with a woman creates opportunities. It's a chance to have fun with her and build up the nerve to ask her out on a date. It can also help you find out how responsive she will be to you. Because most women respond to emotion, your goal in flirting is to make her feel happy so that she associates you with "happy" feelings. This is known as "anchoring," in which stimuli are connected to a certain emotion. In this case, you are the stimulus and the feeling is happiness. The best way to flirt is to approach it in a fun or playful way. This will help her feel safe and comfortable around you, and she'll eventually drop her shield. Start out by relaxing, making eye contact and smiling -- and don't forget to say "hi." From my experience, after introducing yourself, the best way to flirt with a stranger is to make imaginative misinterpretations in a complimentary manner. For example, let's say that you find the salesgirl at Macy's really sexy and you want to ask her out. Instead of asking her out in a straightforward manner and risking rejection, you can flirt with her by saying, "Isn't it my lucky day, being served by the sales goddess herself." She'll probably laugh (look for body language), and then you can finish with, "I'm so impressed with your assistance that I have to find a way to repay you. How about drinks on Wednesday?" Then wait for her answer. It's not guaranteed that she'll accept your offer, but your chances are a lot better. If she does reject you, you probably won't feel as bad because it was all a fun flirting game. One last note about flirting: It can also be used as a screening process. It lets you get to know her and decide whether or not you want her. The last thing you want is a dangerously unstable woman who'll say, "It's so nice to have a boyfriend at last" after she sleeps with you on the first night she meets you. You also want to avoid the other extreme case in which the woman is a cold fish and is not interested in having sex with you until the two of you are married -- or at least engaged. the player approachSo you found the woman you wanted to talk to. You noticed her body language and she definitely seemed interested. You flirted with her and she was very receptive. There is still a possibility that she might reject you, but you don't care -- it's part of the game and you won't take it personally. Now how do you do it? How do you approach her, develop an interesting conversation and eventually ask her out on a date? To be continued ...................

However, our friend Jacalybaro is in a state of self-denial about the defining feature of this dictator. As the old nautical expression puts, "No wind favors the ship that has no charted course." It is astonishing why Mr. Jacaylbaro favors to sail with this ship over the preservation of mutual benefit through the symbiosis of the peaceful clans in Sanaag and Sool. Waar niyow dee meeshaad igala qaaday garan maayo kow dheh ,,,,,,,, how many times i said WAR IS NOT GOOD FOR ANYONE ,,,, and we're not talking about war here sxb ,,,,, If somaliland wants war walaahi things would not be the way it is now ,,,, 16 years and yet no aggression from somaliland's side at all ,,, I know Sanaag bari clans are living in a peaceful situation (almost) and i don't want for them any war or demise ,,,,,,,,, all what we want is to close our border with qolada shishe ,,,,,,,,,, and we will do it through negotiations like this going on in Erigavo now ,,,,,, and that will be done sooner or later ,, for sure.
