Religious? Nadeen get a grip on reality hunno

Niiko reminds you of home. How bizzare? weirdo perhaps? I think so. Its obvious you and I are on a different wavelength. I am a sister who ardently admires buraanbur/dhaanto sharah dances that I consider sharaf and I fervently dispise niiko. Niiko to me is a barbaric dance it should be performed in the jungle somewhere not at weddings or at somali gatherings. SINCE you have a fetish for niiko I suggest you kindly mention it to your wife if you have not done so Death to niiko.

Is that so Castra? In that case I am more than glad my shiver falls short. I always walk out at weddings when the niiko freaks kick in.The thought of even seeing niiko sends my immune system into overdrive. You know what I mean? I am afraid one of these days I might die of anaphylatic shock.

Dunya vs Akhira---Shukran a great read. Bro or sis? After the duty to our Lord the first duty an individual has is one to his parents. Its mentioned in our quraan we as believers should be courteous to our parents and especially when they enter upon old age. And most of all the Quraan urges us to pray for our parents. May Allah have mercy upon my parents. May allah bless my mother in this life and the hereafter. There are no words to describe what she means to me and let alone what she has done for me.

Niiko is the most disguisting dance to ever have been created. Its plain sick. Me and my sisters have come up with a devious plan on our weddings. If anyone shakes their behind they will be ushered out and have the door shut in their face. No walaahi I cant understand whats so good about niiko. Just thinking abiut it sends shivers down my back.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if many of these so-called deaths attributed to cishq were, in fact, battles lost to Tuberculosis, Typhoid, Malaria, Cholera or many other communicable diseases as the symptoms would have largely been the same. Typhoid is prevalent in Somalia???I guess we learn something everyday. I doubt anyone can mistake these sever and miserable diseases for cashaq! You are pushing your view just a tad dear. We Somali ppl are way too sophisticated to miss the diagnosis of such diseases.

Violent--Ahem ahem this is coming from who dear? A traitor. I guess I would too be a traitor if I lived in Duniden Imagine the side effects the cold can bring about?? It shows on individuals like you Rokko. Its a pity I guess I will always cheer on Kiwis even when I return to my little hut in Somalia.

Statiscts like these have no affect on me whats so ever. In Islam there is abosuletly no difference between men and women as far as the relationship to Allah is concerned as both are promised good reward for good deeds and bad rewards for evil conduct. I am content alhamdulilaah because men and women are treated equally by their creater Allah (SWT) so having said that I do bear in mind men and women are at the same time not equal in strength , mind and these differences are caused by our gentic make up.The wife Imran even mentioned to Allah I have given birth to a female even though Allah was well aware she given birth to female she added Oh Allah female and male are not the same. Thankfully our differences in make up allow us to do certain roles where each one is in command of that role. Is Allah (SWT) not just?

What makes me cringe about the opposite sex? ----I cant stand brothers who dress in thuggish style and yet have the nerve to approach you. ----I cant stand it how every guy you talk seems to think you have it in for him. And he brags it to his mates. ----I cant stand it when they walk pass you in a hope to get your attention they yell while speaking on the cell phone and everyone around you turns around to look at you. ----I cant stand it when they walk pass you with a white girl and somehow manage to give you a cheecky smile to say look at me. What is there to look at??? ----- I cant stand it when they try and chat you up in af somali .Its a turn off. Enough for me to walk away. ----I cant stand it how its okay for them to behave in a certain manner but if a sister does the same she is called a w8hre and her reptuation is shuttered. ---- Most of all I cant stand it when they mess around and in the end expect to have a good sister by their side. ----

May Allah reward you for the two wonderful articles brother. May Allah make us ones that strive to be lifted up in good deeds. Just like Allah mentioned in his quraan "man kaana yuriidu xarthal akhirati nazid lahu" Whosoever desires the reward of the hereafter, We give him increase in his reward. And most of all may Allah increase our imaan just like how he made the hearts of asxaabal kahf firm and strong with the light of faith in Allah. Ameen

What about in Somalia? A father to two girls (with hopes of being a grandfather someday), this is very disturbing indeed. I wonder what it will be like in 20-25 years. Men outnumber women in the expatriate Somali communities . The men are in high demand for marriage, because they usually prefer women in Somalia. They prefer the humble ones over the sophisticated in the West. Nowadays, the men keep those humble women in Africa (where it's safe in Somalia, Kenya, others) & the Middle East (Syria, Egypt, Yemen, others), less the women become sophisticated if taken to the West. This is for practical purposes; life in Africa & the Middle East is affordable, the women there have less chance to become independent or rebels, and men (even Westerners) usually prefer a docile partner. Women outnumber men in Somalia, where men are always in high demand. Haddad from the above statements you have told me somali men are indeed threaten by an educated sister why? because she is simply sophisticated and a Somali men cant keep supporting her in west hence why he keeps her in Africa. Its seems to be there is this great misunderstanding from our brothers side. A sophisticated sister equals a women who cant be controled well hate to break it to my dear brothers but that is not the case. Unless the men that go back home to secure a docile wife are those that are less educated than your average educated somali sister. Well if that is the case I was never going to bother with a guy less educated than I. I have seen countless marriages where sisters are more educated than the man and as usual they have all ended up in divorce. This is due to the extreme jealousy that men exhibit. Question? Can a sister not be sophisticated and humble at the sametime? Is there a rule that says the two cant go together? Back to topic I would rather become wife number two than marry a pizza guy but if he is pious I will be as nice to over look in his deficiency.

Strange comments? are you talking to me?

 <--------is so feminine If a brother ever rolled his eyes at me , I would gather my pink dirac and yell----- "Uffey akhas I dont need a brother who exhibits female characteristics "
-
Yes! We are indeed living in a time were the number of men have declined dramatically but I am not so sure you will have your harem. Many sisters are very sensitive about being a second or a third wife let alone a fourth one.

My freind once told me women are no longer the jewels men are. Now I know why we are bidding on them! They must be jewels. Cajiib!

Is it OK for a GIRL to ask a GUY to marry her?????
Endeavour replied to BORN_BRANIAC's topic in General
Qac Qaac---Rest assure I am definetly looking for an old fashioned guy. I have noticed they are a rare species Waryaa----I will check out that movie. Fidel---Waiting forever is habaar. Cant I hope. Someone slap me into reality. It seems I am in LA LA LA land. -
Without the hijab i am nobody. Alhamdulilaah my faith comes fist to me and wearing the hijab shows my obedience and submission to my Lord my creator. The hijab for me is an honour and a protection a symbol of true freedom from the hands and eyes of aggressors and molesters. In all truth the hijab perserves the purity of me as a young lady.

A-Ladiif--Hunno no such thing is true. As usual somali men have brain washed our women into thinking such bizzare crap! Its beyond me how we(women) would listen to such tales. Where has our scanty common sense disappeared to? Somali men are wonderful fabricators

I dont have enough courage to walk up to a brother and propose to him besides its degrading for a brother to be proposed to and worst of all its is robbing him of his manhood whatever that is. Besides I am old fashioned I would want my farah to fall prostrate at my feet , kiss each and every one of my toes , and declare his undying love for me and at that insistant propose.
